First Day and Meeting Jennifer

Emily's POV

I walked into the BAU at Quantico in Virginia, it had always been my dream job. I see all these people around but a certain set of them catch my eyes.

I didn't know their names but a very beautiful blonde caught my attention. Crap I thought she caught me staring at her. I knew I was probably in trouble as she made her way over toward me.

"Hi" she said, I'm Jennifer Jareau but everyone calls me JJ.

"Emily Prentiss" I am supposed to start here today and was looking for Aaron Hotchner.

Up the stars name is the door. "Thanks JJ", I said to her. She flashed me a big smile and I knew that I just had my heart stolen. I thought to myself she may be the one if she is not straight. I knew I had to get to know more about this beautiful blonde.

I knocked on the door of Hotchners office and he told me to come in and so I did. "Emily Prentiss" I believe you picked me to take Elle Greenaway's place.

"Yes" "I did" he said. Nice to meet you by the way Emily. "Any questions"  he asked. "No", I said to him. "Okay" and by the way call me Hotch.

As I was walking toward the door he asked me if I met anyone yet and I said only JJ. "Okay" well have her fill you in on everything and we start briefing at 10 every morning except weekends we have off. Have maintenance get you a name plate for your desk and welcome to the team.

"Thanks" "I will", I said to him.

Hey JJ, Hotch told me to have you fill me in on everything. Okay JJ said to me.

45 minutes later

Would you like to get dinner after work, I asked her? "Sure". Okay JJ be ready to leave after work. Okay oh and JJ here is my number.

Thanks Emily she replied with a big smile.

Aug 18, 2007 Nine Months Later

Emily and JJ got married in Massachusetts because it isn't legal in DC but is recognized. They had a case in Oct where two guys killed the parents and kids but one girl Carrie survived. She was about 15/16 years old and Emily wanted to take her home, but JJ heard from the family in Los Angeles. On the plane back home JJ sat across from Emily and told her Carrie's family was nice.

"Em", you okay, "yeah".

"I think it is a good idea though", JJ said to Emily.

"What is?"

"You, me, kids I can see it."

Really? asked Emily.

Yeah replied JJ and Emily smiled.
