Sometimes the best thing you can do is not think, not wonder, not imagine, not obsess. Just breathe and have faith that everything will work out for the best.

That was what I reminded myself of when I left the aircraft. To my surprise I even managed to convince myself that this would be just another one of my adventures and that there'd be nothing that I couldn't handle. I went through customs and then switched on my phone to see that my mate had sent me another message.

-"Henry and Imogen are going to fetch you from the airport. They both know that you are a lynx and have promised to keep your secret for as long as it's possible." Henry and Imogen were Killian's younger siblings. I hadn't gotten the hang of who was who exactly as Killian had four siblings in total, but I was looking forward to meeting them soon.

-"Still waiting for my suitcase. Hope it won't be too long." I didn't know how busy their schedules were and didn't want to hold them up unnecessarily. Alpha David always seemed as busy as a bee whenever I saw him and so I expected the same.

-"There's no rush. You should see them fairly easy when you get to the arrival area. Henry will probably be one of the tallest and they've got a sign with your name."

Turned out Henry really was the tallest. Holding the sign with my name on it just above his head he really was hard to miss. As I  walked closer to them I noticed the subtle resemblence both siblings had to Killian. Imogen had the same green eyes and nose whereas Henry had the same smile and jaw line. Both had fairer hair, however. They seemed to be in a conversation and only saw me when I was just a couple of steps away from them.

"You must be Shira. My name is Henry and this is Imogen." Henry introduced and I couldn't help smiling at the similarity to Killian's voice.

"I's nice to meet you both and thank you for fetching me." I greeted friendly.

"No problem." Henry mumbled as he grabed my suitcase and headed to the exit. I followed him next to Imogen.

"So you're the famous lynx that is currently driving my big brother crazy." Imogen stated teasingly.

"That sounds about right." I replied playfully seductive.

"Imogen, I thought Killian told you not to scare her off already." Henry voiced from ahead of us only briefly turning around to wink.

"That's what he told you, because you apear boring and resigned one minute and gruffy the next. And it's also the reason he sent me with you." She giggled as we reached a big modern looking jeep. My suitcase got thrown (literally!) in the trunk and Imogen opened the back seat door for me before getting into the passenger seat. The inside of the car still smelt of fresh leather.

Henry navigated through the complicated airport ways with ease. It seemed to me that he'd done this numerous times. When the airport was behind us Imogen switched the radio off and turned around in her seat to look at me.

"As you already know, Killian picked the two of us to be your secret keepers. The rest of our pack and our family only knows that you're from the Limestone pack. Your looks and your smell isn't entirely wolfish, but  I don't think that your cat heritage will easily be noticed. For now we'll just argue that your different looks and smells are because you're a desert wolf. I hope you understand that this means that you can not shift mindlessly. It also means that you'll be around the two of us a lot from now on." She spoke sobering, but I wasn't all that unhappy about it. In her words rang a promise of solitude and I looked forward to it.

"I understand." I acknowleged and then simply looked forward to seeing Killian again as the radio came back on.

"Are there situations in which you can't control the shift? Like when you get angry?" Henry interrogated.
