Chapter 9

-Lyric Pov-

"I had fun the other night." I said honestly.

"I did to...I like hanging with you." He said.

“So when are we gonna chill again?” I asked anticipating his response kind of.

“Umm… how about right now?” He replied.

“But aren’t you on the west coast…?” I asked unsure.

“No I’m in front of your house.”  Was the last thing I heard before I hung up and ran downstairs. I opened the door and jumped on him.

“I see you missed me!” Daniel said hugging me while I had my legs wrapped around his waist.

“Hell yeah I did its been six months since I’ve seen you in person!” I said while getting down and bringing him into the house. We headed upstairs to my room.

“So what you up to?” He asked laying down putting his hands behind his head for support while kicking off his sneakers getting comfortable on my bed. I sat down on my bed facing him.

“I was here home alone and bored… but then you came!” I said enthusiastically. “But what are you doing here?” I continued on.

“Actually  I came here to see you…and your birthday is today.” Daniel said sitting up and plucking my in my head.

“It is I totally forgot… I’M FINALLY LEGAL!” I said jumping up.

“Yeah now go get dressed.” He said pushing me off the bed. I got up and walked over to my closet looking for an outfit. I got dressed in that over there ->

“So where we going?” I asked getting comfortable in the car.

“To the mall to by you an outfit.” He said taking a picture of us.

“You should post that on Instagram.” I said looking at it.

“Alright I’m gonna tag you in It.” he said adding affects and all that. When we got to the mall the first store we went to was H&M. I got a white skirt above the knee, a white cropped fitted shirt, and white heels. After we paid and left we went back to my house. I got in the shower for an hour. When I got out I put on a white half of bra and white underwear. I put Palmer’s Cocoa Butter while I waited for the flat iron to heat up. When I was done putting on the cocoa butter I started to flat iron my hair. A whole forty five minutes later my hair was bone straight and laying down. I put on the outfit that I got from H&M and walked into my room. Daniel was sleeping while holding his phone. I walked over to him and shook him lightly but that didn’t work. I bent down in his ear and screamed “WAKE YO ASS UP FOOL!” He surely jumped up and looked at me like I’m crazy.

“Are you retarded?!” He asked furiously.

“Shut up and let’s go.” I said grabbing his wrist and walking down the stairs.
