Kaiden POV
"BAM!"
I turned over after slamming my hand on my alarm clock, crushing it to pieces.
I really don't want to do anything today
"KAIDEN get your cute ass up or else!"
"Or else what," I yell back, sitting up and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.
"Aren't you just adorable mm," my head snapped up to find my best friend Brooke standing in the doorway of the now opened door.
"Shutdup," I mumble sleepily, I groan and get up and walk into my connected bathroom
Unfortunately she followed me, "they found my little sister..."
My head snapped up to meet her eyes, and the biggest smile met my face, " oh my god that's amazing! Where was she! Is she okay?!?" She chuckled softly,but I noticed that something was wrong.
" What happened?" I automatically assumed the worst, I loved Laina, and before you ask yes I meant I am in love with her, I have been since we were kids, even though I'm 3 years older, but she got kidnapped 1 1\2 years ago and as much as we've searched, we found nothing. Laina looked just like her sister but was also very different, honestly they looked like twins, but there were some differences, for example Brooke is a little tanner than Laina, but Laina did have a small tan, unless she lost it wherever she was, Brooke's eyes are a little bit of a darker blue whereas Laina has beautiful bright turquoise, that was so full of love and life, Laina was one of the sweetest people I knew, although she was also very sassy, and at some points she was a little shy but sometimes very rarely she was very outgoing like her sister.
On normal circumstances I would already be out of the room to see her but seeing Brooke's reaction stopped me, if the normally happy-go-lucky best friend of mine was acting like this, there's something I need to know before I see her.
I pulled Brooke into a hug as soon as I saw the tears forming in her eyes, I held her for a moment before whispering in her ear, "what happened,"
