Chapter 2

***I'm changing Ally and Hayes to be 15 so that means Nash and Anna are 18, Sklynn is 6*** I only have like 3 reads so far though so it shouldn't matter that much.

Ally's POV***

I've been staying with the Griers' for 1 week now, and tomorrow is mine and Hayes birthday. We're turning 16! I can't believe we're gonna be able to drive so we won't have to ask Anna or Nash drive us anywhere. Most of my friends already have their license because I'm a summer baby. I love and hate being a summer baby. I'm so sad that my parents can't be here but they have to work to keep a roof over their children's head...and theirs.I want to go get food downstairs so badly, but I kind of can't get up because Hayes' arm is around me and his face is buried in my neck.

Haye's POV***

"HAPPPPPPY BIRFDAY HAYESEY BOOOO!" I hear someone yell in my ear, waking me up from my wonderful dream about Ally. I go to hit the person thinking it was Nash but I open my eyes and see it was Ally so I put my arm down.

"Happy Birthday Beautiful." Wait did I just say that out loud, fudge.

"Thanks Handsome" Ally says winking. If only she knew I wasn't kidding. Gosh she's so beautiful, I wish I just had the courage to ask her out.

"HAYES I'M HUNGRY!" Ally screams in my ear. That girl can eat so much, and she doesn't even gain a pound!

"Lt's go down stairs and get some food then!" I tell her grabbing her hand and pulling her out of bed. Then I realized I didn't have a shirt on--nothing happened you little dirty minded people, I sleep shirtless. I grab a shirt and Ally fixes her hair then we head downstairs.

Ally's POV***

Wile walking downstairs Hayes grabs my hand. He does that all the time though so it's not like it shocked me, but this time it felt different. I felt sparks. I can't be falling for Hayes, right?We've been best friends forever, why would I just now start getting these feelings for him? I mean he is cute, and funny, and nice, and has a nice body, and-

ALLY STOP YOU CAN'T LIKE YOUR BEST FRIEND!

Yes I can!

No you can-

"Ally!" Hayes yells in my face, snapping me out of my fight I was having with myself.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everyone yells once we enter the kitchen. There's a huge buffet of breakfast foods set up.

"Thanks guys!" Hayes and I say simultaneously. We seem to do that a lot. I can't wait to eat that food. I pile it all up on my plate and go to sit down at the table.

"So, what do you guys want to do today?" Elizabeth ask us.

"Ummmmm, I don't know, Hayes?" I say, looking at Hayes.

"Is there any way we could go to the beach house in Southport?" Hayes asks, looking at his mom and dad. I love the beach house, our parents bought t together so it's huge because there had to be enough room for all of us. The house is about 4 hours away but it's worth the drive.

"Sure, why not! We can go for the week!" Elizabeth says, smiling at us. There's a chorus of yays that go around the table. After we finish up we all head upstairs to get packed. You're probably wondering why we don't have a big Sweet 16 party, well let's just say a few months ago Hayes and I went to a party and it didn't end up well. We don't really like them now.

"Hey Hayes, wanna ask if we can bring Logan and Zack?" I ask Hayes, Logan is my best friend and Zack is Hayes', they also happen to be dating.

"Sure! I'll go ask, you call them and tell them to start packing cause you know they'll be able to come." Hayes says, while running down stairs to ask his parents. I call Logan and her mom said it was fine so I told her I'd text her telling her if Elizabeth said yes. Hayes comes upstairs right after I get off the pone and said that we were aloud to take them. He calls Zack and asks him, Zack's parents said it was fine! I text Logan telling her to start packing, and to go over to Zack's and pack for him cause we all know he won't pack, and also that we're leaving in 2 hours. I start packing while ayes takes a shower. Then we switch, and he starts packing while I take a shower. After I get out of the shower I change into some PINK cropped yoga leggings, a blue tank top, some blue tennis shoes, sunglasses, and a blue pineapple iPhone case. I'm the kind of girl who matches her phone case with her outfit.
