The rain drip drips down the windows
The shrieking as the wind billows
Pitter patters hit the rooftop
Drip Drip Drip the rain does not stop
Like a lullaby it does sound
As water droplets hit the ground
Puddles form leaving mud and slop
Drip Drip Drip the rain does not stop
Clouds of grey is where the sun hides
Across the water small bugs glide
The dog runs in, looks like a mop
Drip Drip Drip the rain does not stop
Pass time with family and board games
Laughter echos the houses frames
While in the puddles frogs do hop
Drip Drip Drip the rain does not stop
