I'll Always Love You

Chapter One

This is Jessica

I stared into the full body mirror. I wore a dark blue glitter covered dress under my black gown. My dark brown hair was curled under my black cap. My outfit was topped off with a pair of black four inch heels, making me 5'7. I wore a smokey eye shadow and bold bright red lip stick.

I turned away from the mirror and walked over to the rest of the Seniors. We were waiting to walk out and be seated infront of everyone there supporting us. After a few moments, we were pulled out and walking to the gymnasium. People clapped for us as we took proud steps.

Each Senior had one to five chairs they could have on the group with imediate family. I picked one, for my mom. My brother, Elton, wasn't sure if he could make it because his flight had been pushed back a bit longer.

I was upset, but I understand. Finally we reached the 'C's of the last names. I smiled widely when he called me up. As I walked up to him and shook his hand, reaching for my diploma we smiled and looked out towards the crowd to get a photo taken.

After another forty minutes I was walking around looking for my cap, which was a few feet away. I quickly grabbed it and made my way outside where I looked to see my mother standing in a black and white dress with some black shoes.

I walked up and hugged her tightly, kissing her cheek. "I love you mom, thank you for everything" I whispered softly in her ear. She smiled and kissed my forhead "I got you a gift" I looked at her and smiled "I told you, you didnt need to" "Pft, fine I'll leave then" I turned around to see my brother, with a lot of people behind him. I ran over and jumped into his arms, starting to cry and shake a bit.

I pulled away and he laughed at me, before setting me down on my feet and kissing my forhead. Our mom was taking photos of us, and I looked at her and smiled. I lookd at Elton and pulled back, his arm rested on my shoulders. I noticed Amber and squealed, hugging her. Making everyone laugh.

I smiled at her "I missed you guys a lot" and it was true. Just because Elton was way older didn't mean anything to us. I hung out with him all the time. His friends were my friends.

I looked at Elton "Are these your friends?" I asked, he smiled "Yeah, this is Sam, Colby, and Corey. They came with me for a TFIL video" I smiled "Can I join?" I asked, grabbing his arm.

He nodded and I hugged him again. "I'm Elton's little sister Jessie" I shook their hands. I looked at mom "Do you have to go to work?" I asked, and she frowned, nodding. I sighed and hugged her.

Soon we said our byes to my mom and she left for work. I looked at Elton as we stood between his car and my car as I took the gown off "Some of you can ride with me, I don't mind" I told them so they weren't cramped. We were going out to eat. The Colby and Corey guy ran over to the passenger door.

While they were doing rock paper scissors, Sam climbed into the passenger seat without notice. I started the car and they looked down, starting to scream at him. I laughed as Corey climbed into the back and Colby got in with Elton and Amber. I pulled out and started following Elton.

After fifeteen minutes we pulled up to a mexican place and quickly got out. I, in my heels, raced Colby up the door. I won by a few feet but I was already panting. I opened it for everyone and followed in.

We were quickly seated and I was stuck between Elton and Corey. I didn't mind, Corey was funny. He told me about his girlfriend, and I even learned about Sam's girlfriend a little.

I was enjoying sipping my sweet tea with lemon when my brother brought up them living in a house together "Well that's cool, I don't know what I'm gonna be doing now" I shrugged "I wanna stick with YouTube and don't wanna go to college" he chuckled.

Quickly Elton looked around and I looked back down at my menu while setting my phone on the table. "Why don't you move in with us?" I looked over at Corey, who asked the insane question. I mean... It wasn't even that crazy. But they would soon get sick of me.

I looked at him again "I don't think it would be a good idea" "Why not? Don't you wanna do YouTube still and move away?" I looked at my brother "But then you'd see me 24/7 Elton" he chuckled. Did he really want me to??
