Assault Alpha: Prologue

"Ughh... u..."

It was the first sound I've heard since I woke up. Everything was vivid, even my head hurts for some reason.

I tried to stand up, wondering where I might be, I gazed from my left to right. There was nothing but void; a complete null. I was rendered shock for a moment, not because of my head, but because I tried something that I cannot seem to do.

I cannot remember anything.

I forced myself to lean against the wall, it was a gruesome task; my body felt very weak and weary. My eyes were filled with tears as I pound my head over and over again. Who am I? Who am I? Who am I!?

I raised the same question over and over again, it was excruciating! My head feels so heavy that at any given time, it'll swell up and burst into pieces.

My vision was still a blur, I'ved waited for my eyes to adjust, slowly creeping its way to a clear prospect. The dust uncovers as my eyes open slowly.

But I wish I didn't open my eyes at all.

There were bodies! countless of bodies lying on the floor! It was terrifying, like a nightmare inside this  huge broken walls. There's blood everywhere, dismembered parts of their body were scattered all around me. My body shivered in an instant, I was so scared that my body went into complete shutdown.

With all my might, I lift my left arm slowly. Though; my eyes weren't in their perfect condition, I can grabe an image of my left hand. I was wearing tattered gloves, and as my body finally stops to shiver, I've realized something significant. I was wearing a soldier's uniform; armed with a vest and a rigged camouflage, torn apart as if it was struck by lightning.

As my vision clears, it was not to late to comprehend that every ruptured part inside this hole is wearing the exact same uniform I am wearing.

No! I can't handle this! my head's gonna burst! where am I!? what am I!? WHO AM I!?

I screamed at the top of my lungs. The wind hissed as my shriek ends, fervishly feeding the night. I cried in desperation. Both of my hands covered my head that was dripping in blood. The adrenaline finally wore off and the pain thumped me in surprise. I was bleeding so hard, I feel like I'm gonna feint in a few seconds.

As my whole consciousness drifts at ease; chaining myself into slumber. I heard a sound, and it was a familiar one. 

IT ISN'T HUMANE, NOR MECHANICAL; IT'S SOMETHING I CANNOT DESCRIBE, BUT I AM SURE OF ONE THING;

It's something evil.
