Okay so yesterday I had a substitute teacher for one of my classes. At the beginning of class, the sub said that we could listen to music while we worked. It's against the school rules to listen to music during class, but nobody really enforced it, and quite a few teachers let us listen to music during class occasionally. Besides, my class has less than seven days of school left (whoop whoop), so why not let us have some fun? I left my headphones at home, however, so I couldn't listen to music.
Today, my regular teacher for that class said that she heard that many students were listening to music during her class yesterday, and she was disappointed. She said she felt disrespected. When we told her the sub said that we could, she said we took advantage of the sub. Here's the weirdest part - my regular teacher said that the sub had MADE A LIST OF THE NAMES OF THE PEOPLE WHO WERE LISTENING TO MUSIC and left it for my regular teacher. That was confusing, because she said we could listen to music, then made a list of kids who were? Like what?
I have never been happier that I left my headphones at home. Anyways, what do you guys think about the situation?
