Thank You Mother (Nalu Fanfic)

10 Years Later

It's been 10 years since Lucy left Fairy tail, the guild had been ignoring her because of a strange rumor that had spread. They all thought Lucy had been attacking members of Fairy Tail unnoticed, members of Fairy Tail had gone to the guild beat up and telling their guild mates they didn't know who attacked them. But then people around town started telling Fairy Tail that they saw Lucy attacking her own guild mates, when the master heard of these rumors he called Lucy into his office, but she was nowhere to be found. Lucy thought master was going to kick her out of the guild and remove her guild mark right in front of the guild to make her feel bad for hurting her guild mates. So she left, the morning master was going to call her into her office she took the first train out of Magnolia, she then took a ship out of Fiore. With all the money she had saved up from jobs and some side work she bought a house on a small island. There were about 60 people on the island at the time, around half of them were wizards. Lucy lives on secluded side of the island away from most villages, she got most of her money from doing random jobs around the island, the taxes were low because some of the time people forgot to come and tax them because the island is so small they forget about it. After 2 years of living on the island Lucy met a group of wizards that called themselves "Dragon War." They all had dragon slaying magic of different kinds, there were about 10 of them in that group. They told Lucy that this island was known for its magical crystals, Lucy wanted to join their group so she wouldn't feel so lonely at times and so she would stop thinking about Fairy Tail. They told her that only dragon slayers could join their group but would still love to have her. So they brought her down into a cave and they looked for some dragon crystals. Whild looking Lucy stumbled upon and small path that lead away from the normal hallways, being the curious girl she is she went down that path and found a room with a glowing purple crystal. She walked over to the crystal and reached out her hand toward it, she touched one finger to the crystal. Suddenly the crystal started to glow really brightly making Lucy turn away and cover her eyes, Lucy felt something inside her grow, she felt like her magic was growing, she felt powerful. Is this what it feels like to be a dragon slayer? She asked herself as she continued to feel the magic of the crystal flow inside her. Lucy's whole body started to glow, she was lifted up into the air her legs folding underneath her. Her head was tilted back and her jaw laid open, she opened her eyes, they had felt different than before. She felt like she could see more clearly and her ear rang with all the silence around her. Dead silence, she couldn't hear a thing, but she knew she was not deaf for she started to hear a voice. It was singing and sweet melody when it stop, it started to speak directly to her.

"I have waited for centuries for this moment, my dear you have just touched my soul. You have been given the gift of a dragon slayer, but this element is not like the others for you will be able to use other people's magical energy to strengthen your own. You my dear are now a 4th generation God dragon slayer." The sweet voice rang in Lucy's head, her heart pounded at the feeling of magic entering and pumping through her veins.

As the glow started to fade Lucy was lowered to the ground and about 10 seconds after hitting the ground she passed out.

Soon after her friends in Dragon War found her and brought her to her house, after she woke up she told them what happened and they all told her that they have been looking for that crystal for years. So after Lucy gained her strength back they all started to train her on how to use dragon slayer magic. All ten of them taught her a different attack or history of dragon slaying magic. Drax, the earth dragon slayer first generation, taught her Dragon Roar and Dragon Iron Fist. Soul, the spirit dragon slayer first generation, taught her Wing attack and Dragon's Claw. Frost, the Ice dragon slayer first generation, taught her the history of dragon slaying magic, since he is very, very smart. Fawn, poison dragon slayer second generation, taught her Dragon sword horn and Dragon's crushing fang. Zero, the lightning dragon slayer first generation, taught her Dragon's grip strike. The rest of the five, Max, the diamond dragon slayer first generation, Francis, the weather dragon slayer second generation, Grace, the voice dragon slayer third generation, Jacob, the iron dragon slayer second generation, and lastly the master of the "not-so-official-guild" Zaxes, the blood dragon slayer third generation, they all helped Lucy find god dragon slayer secret arts. All 10 of them made Lucy feel at home, they also even found a book just laying around in the cave all about god dragon slaying and had many secret arts. They all helped her for those 8 years, now they have formed an official guild called War Dragon. Zaxes, the guild master, is tough but kind. He treats the guild like a family, just like Makarov did. But Zaxes is different, Lucy told him what happened back in Magnolia and Fairy Tail. He made her feel at home and told her he would never kick somebody out of the guild because of a rumor. When Lucy met them their guild hall was a run down, old, dusty, and large warehouse. But now with the help and strength of Lucy's spirits and the dragon slayers working together, they have turned it into the perfect guild hall. It has a touch of every type of dragon slayer's element and power bound into it. They had found the area for the guild hall when they were exploring the island, it is located right in the middle of the island. The people of the island has watched the guild grow and have supported it, they helped the guild find jobs to gain money.  10 years since Lucy left Fairy Tail has changed her. She has grown and most days she doesn't even think about Fairy Tail, Lucy has grown stronger too, she has mastered almost everything, she could beat most of the other members in the guild and can use some of the god slayer secret arts. During the 8 years Lucy and the others had formed a group, it was her, Drax, Frost, Soul, Fawn, and Zero.

Lucy and her gang had just gotten back from a job on another island when the master gave them a new job, this was located in non other than Magnolia. People in Magnolia had heard of this dragon slayer guild and wanted to see what they can do, so they posted a job for them to catch some bandits that use magic. But the Fairy Tail guild also wanted to see what they can do so they were in on the plan. They would pose as the bandits and fight the War Dragon guild. Lucy and the gang left right away since they haven't unpacked from the last job.
