A/N: this is my first story so my apologies if it's incredibly crappy. So this the setting is modern day but it starts 2016. Also the college is made up and the streets are not accurate. I just came up with random street names and stuck with it. Anyway, sorry again if it's crappy. ON WITH DA STORY! (This is also for a more mature audience. A little, LITTLE bit of language and the vocabulary is a bit more advanced.) feed back wanted! Chapter 1/24

"This is it." A young woman, slightly startled by the sudden comment from the driver, looked up from her phone to be greeted by the cab pulled over on the side of the road in front of a tall brown building with vines crawling up the sides. She stared at it for a few seconds before realizing the driver was waiting.

"Oh! Umm.." 'Crap,' she thought as her words fumbled. Her face burned at the small remark. She always seemed to be so awkward when being in company of a stranger. Deep inside she knew that people could care less about her minor faults, but her insecurity always got the best of her Ironically causing her to be even more of a blunder.

"Well?" Irritation ringed in his voice as he held out his hand. She hesitated for a moment then quickly handed him his payment. Grabbing her luggage, she scrambled out, the cab pulling away as soon as she did.

Glancing down at her phone, it read: 8:29 PM. 'Not too bad. I expected to arrive here later.' She tucked her Phone into the pocket of her jacket then raised her head to take in the building before her. It was an apartment building with several floors. Each floor had six balconies extending from different rooms and a small parking garage to the right. Rows of neat, square bushes line the building with a small garden of various flowers of all different colors. The contrast of colors and tones conveyed a feeling of comfort and relaxation. The garden took up what little space there was between the street and the building. From the sidewalk, there was a small staircase leading up to the twin glass front doors.

Excitement welled up inside followed by a pang of sorrow. Her mind drifted to the past. Dark and pitiful memories started to arouse and fearing that she might become too sentimental, she pushed the tear-jerking thoughts to the back of her mind. Shaking off the moment of distress, she painted a smile on her face and walked through the front door.

The apartment wasn't the finest but it was still better than most. She saved what ever money she could accumulate incase she didn't get a scholarship. Nonetheless, she had managed to not only get a scholarship, but she got one in one of NYC's top colleges. The New York Johnson University of arts (JUA)! She worked her ass off to get to get that scholarship and she intended to prosper from it. She didn't come all the way from Minnesota in vain.

Walking through the front doors, she made her way across the lobby to the elevators. Stepping in she hit the 8 button and the doors closed. The elevator lifted her up to the top floor where she'd turned, walked down a few hallways, and faced her apartment door. Before she would allow herself access to the room, she scavenged through one of her bags and pulled out a small portable video camera. Turning the camera to the door, she quickly turned it on and began monologuing.

"It's finally time guys. After flying all the way from Minnesota, I'm about to enter my fist apparent! In New York!" Reaching for the knob and unlocking it with a key, she slowly pressed on into the room. The first thing she saw was a small, modest kitchen with the basic necessities. There was a bar separating the kitchen from the living room were there was a couch in the corner with a tv sitting on a cabinet against the wall. There was a large sliding glass door that lead out to a small balcony with a stunning view (at least in her opinion). Over to her left there was a
Very short, hardly even a hallway with a closet that kept the washer and dryer and a small bedroom at the end. The apparent was relatively small but she didn't mind.

After presenting a tour and then venting about the struggles getting to the apartment, she powered off the camera and set everything down on a twin sized bed in her new room

After presenting a tour and then venting about the struggles getting to the apartment, she powered off the camera and set everything down on a twin sized bed in her new room. Grabbing her computer bag, phone, and wallet, she walked to the nearest cafe 2 blocks from her apartment. Walking into Starbucks, she purchased a large cup of coffee and began editing her video. It felt as if it wasn't long after she started when she heard an alarming crash that came from behind the counter that nearly made her fall out of her chair.

"WHAT THE HELL!" The man working the register hacked to see what all the commotion was. It quickly died down and things returned to normal as if nothing happened, although the man working at the register had an extremely irritated look that darkened his expression. Dazed for a second, the girl passed the clutter as unimportant and pulled out her phone. 11:45 PM.

'Holy crap! When did it get so late?'  The only people in the restaurant aside from herself was three employees. One working the register that looked to be in his 30's and two younger boys that looked about her age.

Turning back to her work that she had finally completed, she pulled up a profile page of a site she was all to familiar with.

"So you have a YouTube?" Instantly turning to the voice that sounded behind her, she was greeted with 2 brilliant smiles of the two men who had not too long ago been yelled at.

"Um. Y-yea!" She smiled then immediately flushed due to embarrassment. "I uh - it-it's nothing much.... I honestly don't know what I'm doing..."

The tall, slim boy laughed and then looked at the girl In the eye. Freckles littered his face standing out against his light skin and blond hair. His eyes were a dark, almost gold, color that stood out brilliantly. The other, smaller boy's smile just widened. He had an olive competition with black wavy hair covering one of his eyes. His one revealing eye was a color of caramel with gray speckles.

"No! I think that's cool! You we also have accounts," the taller boy remarked. "We could do a colab some time if you want. What's your name?"

"Camren. But you can call me Cam for short. I'm 19."

The smaller one replayed first, "Ivan; 20 years old. And this is Jake. He's also 19.And you are coming over to our apparent tomorrow! Here, let me give you my number!"

"I'm sorry, what?" Camren was taken a little off guard by Ivan's sudden demand.

"Unless you've got better plans?" Jake teased with a smug look on his face.

     "You're on!"
