Chapter Two
Is this what death is like? Am I dead? I couldn’t feel anything… and the world seemed dark, and without noise or feeling. I felt weightless, but my mind was very clear… more clear than it had ever been. Maybe that was because the rest of my body seemed not to be functioning… and the signals from my senses weren’t cluttering my conscious mind. I felt like I was trapped in a cave… or like I was only a mind, or thoughts… trapped in a shell of a body.
