Once again, Rosa is feeling unsure about trusting Jace. Both her best friends don't, but she does. Jace was moving fast with her, again.

She doesn't want a repeat of last time. She can't have a repeat of last time if she wants to prove Evelyn wrong.

"Hey," Elizabeth says from her spot in the driver's seat. They are currently waiting in the parking lot of the restaurant Jace is meeting them at. Paparazzi precautions means weird meeting places. "Are you okay?"

"Hmm? Yeah. Why?" Rosa lazily taps her fingers on her thigh.

"You seem out of it." Elizabeth sighs. "You know you can talk to me, right?"

Rosa nods, leaning her head on the seat behind her. "I think I made a mistake. With not talking to Evelyn. She's my best friend, you know?" She turns her head, looking at her friend.

"You're finally seeing it. Right?" Elizabeth questions. "Friend are always right."

"But I don't think she's right! She's wrong about Jace. He loves me."

"You are too naive, Rosa."

"No I'm not."

Five minutes later Jace is also sitting in Elizabeth's car, and they are driving to her apartment.

Rosa feels her heart beating, as if it could jump outlet of her chest any moment. She doesn't like this feeling.

"So.." says Jace awkwardly. "How are you two?"

"Oh, I'm fine. You?" Elizabeth responds.

"I'm great." A smile spreads on Jace's face as he speaks. "I get to spend a week with Rosa. It's all I could ask for."

Rosa feels her face heating up. "You're too sweet, Jace."

Ten minutes later all three of them are in the apartment. It's not a small apartment, but not extremely big, either. Two rooms, one bathroom.

"You'll have to sleep on the couch." Elizabeth says. "I don't always opposite sexes sleeping in the same bed in my house." She leaves the room.

"She's joking." Rosa reassures. "You can sleep in my room if you want."

Jace shrugs, "I can sleep on the couch. I know you don't like that much contact."

Rosa gives him a smile, and Elizabeth re-enters. "I'm leaving." She says, walking out.

"What up with her?" Jace questions.

"I don't know. Do you want to watch a movie?"

"The Nightmare Before Christmas?"

"Sure. Then Holes."

"Then we need to watch The Notebook."

Rosa snorts a laugh. "I can't believe you like that movie. I'll make popcorn."

Ten minutes and twenty seconds later, the two are cuddled up with a bowl of popcorn, watching movies.
