Chapter 1.

This is the very first chapter of 1004~ i hope you like it!

SungKyu- Imma misses you guys. Come visit me sometimes, okay?

All the members sadly smiled and nodded thier heads.

SungKyu was 26, and it was time for him to go to the military for almost 2 years.

SungKyu- Hey, WooHyun can I talk to you?

Surprised, he walked up to his leader and they went outside the dorm.

SungKyu- As you know, I’m not only leaving you guys behind, and I’m also leaving SeMi behind for a year and 8 months. So, take care of her for me, will you? Be there for her when she's lonely and bored. I’m putting her in your hands, WooHyun.

WooHyun- Uh, are you sure? I can do it but...

SungKyu cut him off- Please, WooHyun I trust you, now c'mon I have to go to the military camp.

They went inside to get SungKyu's bags and say their depressed good-byes.

After a year of letters and visits from his girlfriend and members, SeMi came to visit SungKyu.

He sees her dressed especially nicely. He puts on a goofy smile and sits at the table across from her.

SungKyu- Hey I missed you, SeMi. You look beautiful today, is it a special day?

He expected her to say it was for him and patiently waited.

SeMi- Yea, uhm, I actually had to tell you something today.

Her face was filled with remorse and guilt. She looked down and slowly looked up at his smiling curious face.

SungKyu- What’s wrong, did something happen? You know you can tell me.

SeMi- I’m breaking up with you. I’m sorry but I don’t love you anymore. 6 years was long enough.

She couldn’t even look at SungKyu’s face when she told him. She looked down at her hands, thought about what to do. SeMi didn’t know what it was like to breakup with someone; they were each other’s first love for 6 long, happy years.

SungKyu just sat there looking at SeMi. He wasn’t thinking about anything except the times they spent together. Was it because of him? Did he do something wrong? His mind went crazy, thinking about what he might have done, why she would act like this.

SeMi- Oppa, I’m sorry, just forget about me, meet someone better than me. Be happy with her.

SungKyu- Her? That her is supposed to be you. I love you.

He pleaded, wanting her to come back to him.

She couldn’t bear to see his helpless face and just left.

SungKyu just watched her leave; runaway from his everlasting love for her.

He trudged to his dorm, letting a tear run down his blank face. SungKyu was thinking about what had happened and noticed that she never once shed a tear, all he saw in her was guilt. But it didn’t matter, all that mattered was that the love of his life left him and he didn’t know why.
