Mountains

Today is the day.
Fully packed with clotes, a tent and all the other things you'll need when you go camping with your best friends. The plan was to watch the sunset, the moon and the stars come up and after that watch the sun rise again. With all my loved ones.

Although they're not many.
but they are the best, I assure you.

I hop out of the door and walk away. fast.
I really need to leave this place for a while. Everything here keeps me reminding of him.

My mind is getting tired.

I'm the first one to arrive at the parkinglot, down the path that leads to the top of the mountains.

They're not that high, I mean, it's just the UK, but the view is just pretty sick and falling down would be an escape for the ones who want to escape..

M'kay mind, you can stop now.

Just a few minutes later I see the first one out of the five people yet to come.

Although number five will never come again.

Greeting her with a friendly hug, as always, and have a dumb conversation about whatever is going on in our lives.
About how she met this smoking hot guy... etc.

Not many minutes later the other three arrived. I'll tell you who are my remaining friends.

We have the 1st o/o 5, Jenna, also my closest friend.
The 2nd o/o 5 is Brandon. I have known him since I was three years old, and he's in a serious/sexual-ish relationship with the 3rd o/o 5, Maya. Maya has moved to this town three years ago. She could be one of the populair kids, but she is very anxious so we welcomed her in our save space group thing. I'm the 4th o/o 5.

And the 5th o/o 5, well, we never talk about him anymore.. it seems like everyone forgot about him.

But he still shows that he's here.

But sadly enough I'm the only one to notice.

And about our group; well, my friends and I have problems. (A/N dId YoU nOtIcE ThE LyRiCs hERe) But atleast we have eachother :).

After we set up all of our tents, Jenna and me a separate one and Brendon and Maya together, we decided to search brenches for a campfire. While we went searching it was getting a bit dark and grey outside already.

We threw all the wood on a big pile and Brendon lit it up, just as one of his siggarets.

We sat down on a bed made out of blankets and coats and watched the wood go up in flames.

Then all of a sudden I heard some voices coming in our direction.

Hard, stiff, manly voices.

"A group of fucking drunk and horny horndogs for sure" Brendon proposes while blowing out the smoke that was still left in his mouth.

And yep, he was right.

The group walked towards us and pit down their stuff just a few metres away from us. Five guys, already started to set up their tents.

After twenty minutes of just chatting around the bonfire one of the guys disdurbed us. "Can we sit with you? The wood isn't dry anymore because of the fog y'know"..

I looked around the cirkle and all of my friends nodded yes.
So I gave permission and they put down their chairs in between us. One of the most tanned and muscular guys I've ever seen sat down next to Jenna.
Soon everyone was buizzy chatting and getting to know eachother.

I just stared into the fire.

I saw the muscular guy whispering something to Jenna what made her giggle softly. "So, do you mind if Theo and I are getting out of here?" she whispered to me. "Oh uhm yeah sure, have fun" I just said and gave her a warming smile.

"Yeah, I guess it's about time" Brendon mentioned and dragged Maya with him, towards his tent just like Jenna and 'Theo'.

The two guys that were left on their own by Theo finished their beers and headed to their tents to. The sun wasn't completely gone yet.

Well I guess I'll watch the sunrise by myself then.

I'm slowly stumbling upwards the mountain as I softly mumble one of Ed Sheeran's songs stuck in my head.

Another day

As I slowly reached te top of the mountain I saw a shadow sit on the edge.

I walked slowly towards it as I noticed;

It is him.

My knees got week and my head started spinning, and all of a sudden I felt his strong arms again, wrapping aroud me, and got me feeling secure and save.

"Come on love, let's watch the stars come up" he suggested. He helped me getting up and we slowly walked towards the edge.

We slowly got to sit down and We let our legs down, carefully hanging over the edge.

I instantly started sweating.

"What's it?" He asked carefully while gently rubbing my back.

"I'm just so scared of heights you know.." I told.

He cupped my face with his hands and got me to look at him. In his eyes, his pupils, which remind me of little moons.

"If it ever comes to the point.." he started, "where you gave up, heights are one of the best you can get."

I don't know what he means.

"Did you gave up?" I carefully asked.
He shaked his head a little. "No, I didn't, but my body did."

My eyes got watery. He noticed and soon I felt his arms around me again, my head resting in hos chest and his in my neck.

"So it wasn't you giving up.." I whispered to him, just to be sure.

I felt him nod yes.

"It wasn't suicide, it was the disease.." he told me, softly whispering in my ear and planting a little kiss in the croock of my neck.
