Here i am another day walking through the noisy halls of my senior year. I am rank 81 out of 533 , I have straight A's and i am constantly turning in work before the due date. So yeah you can say i am a nerd. I don't mind i take it as a compliment. The only hard thing about being a nerd is boys. A lot of boys pick on me especially the soccer dudes. Except Niall Horan he is my best friend and he protects me from all the mean people.
I like it whenever he around me he makes me feel safe. Lately I have been feeling confused.Whenever I'm around him I get nervous and feel my cheeks turn a bright red. I know that Niall doesn't feel the same way so why even bother. I mean a nerd and the soccer captain can never happen. Can it?
Today Niall invited me to the field to watch practice. I got there around 3:45 p.m and waited for the guys to come out. While waiting I took out my book full of word searches. About 10 minutes later the guys came out and did their stretches . Man Niall looked so good in his uniform.
The whole time I was there Niall kept looking at me and he would wave . After 30 minutes of being tortured by his cuteness I decided to leave . As I got up and started walking off the bleachers I guess Niall saw because he started running toward me.He grabbed my arm, i tried to pull away but instead bursted into tears.
Niall: Y/N where are you going? What wrong?
Y/N: * trying not to cry* i-i like you and just the thought of us never being together makes me sad
Niall: what makes you think we are never going to get together?
Y/N: because the soccer captain never dates the nerd
Niall: y/n this isn't romeo and juliet no one is going to tear us apart, i like you a lot and me being captain means nothing to me you mean more than anything and i would love for you to be my girlfriend
I thought about what Niall said and it made sense. I said yes to him and for the rest of the year no one picked on me or called me ugly names. I was still the nerdy girl that Niall fell in love with. After we graduated we stayed together. He was my sweetheart and i couldn't picture life without him. Tonight im going to propose to him and spend the rest of my life with him.
