A/N: So I sort of changed the first chapter to this story as I was not the happiest with it. I hope this ones better. I hope anyone that comes across it will like it. Enjoy!
April's POV
It was Friday night and I was bored. I when up to my stereo and scanned through the self of CDs trying to find what to play. I found Folie à deux and decided to put that on. Stupidly dancing and singing along to 'I Don't Care' when my arsehole of a sister came in. I jumped as I saw her face through my mirror and turned around.
"Turn that crappy music down will you?" She said with annoyance I her voice.
My sister Georgia never really liked my music. I don't really know why or how either because she has never even took the time to listen to it. She was more of a mainstream type of person and listens to what ever was in the charts. She was small minded too and didn't really care about anything outside her interest.
"Oh sorry." I mumbled still red with embarrassment from being caught doing my stupid jam out.
"I've got a friend coming round at 10." She says beginning to grin a little. "So please no disturbing"
I nodded and went up to the stereo to turned the volume down. Satisfied, my sister then walked out of my room. She always walked with great confidence which annoyed me a lot as I was always a shy person. I guess her confidence also made her grain a lot of friends too. Of course because of my shyness and social awkwardness, i was not able to gain as many. We both lived together in an apartment in Chicago. Georgia was 25, slightly older than me. I moved into her apartment as I didn't have the money to buy my own at the moment. She only just about put up with me living there. She hated my music which I played aloud quite a lot and didn't like me hanging around when her friend where there as I would apparently embarrass her talking constantly about 'weird Emo bands that know one cares about'.
I forever walked in her shadow when it came to anything. Whether it was getting guys, friends or getting good grades at school, she always got better than me.
It was now getting late so I went to bed. It was around ten when I heard Georgia's friend come over. I was feeling a bit thirsty too. I'm sure I was able to go to the kitchen and get some water. She did say I couldn't leave my bedroom. I start to make my way down to the kitchen the hallway was dark but I could just about see where I was going. I didn't bother to turn the light on. I was near the kitchen door when a weird noise I could have sworn came from the kitchen itself. It was probably just nothing thought. I opened the kitchen door and saw my sister making out with the 'friend' she had over. I shrieked as my sister saw me there and chased me out immediately. I was not there long enough to see who the man also because the lights were off but long enough to think that he looked oddly familiar to me.
I went back upstairs being disappointed that I did not get the glass of water that I wanted. Though my mind was more occupied on who the guy was. It's like when you see a celebrity and to try to remember what their name is. It was bugging me, but I decide to brush it off and go back to sleep.
