forgotten

The Coma

                My name is Josaphen I'm 17, I just got my license, I'm going home from a party where I got a little high, I'm driving home when I got hit by a truck, I woke up but was stuck in my car. The police show up, the perametics drag me out when I see my mom standing there. She was crying and the police where holding here back.
         "That is my baby over there now let me though!" She yells at the officer trying to push her way thought
I fall asleep to wake up in the ambulance. My mom is sitting there next to me holding my hand. I open my eyes and force out the words "Hi mommy."
She starts crying again and puts her head down on my chest, she lifted her head up showing her puffy red eyes with dark circles. "Hi baby girl." She forces through the tears.
"Don't cry momma." I say wiping away some of her tears with the back of my hand. I fall back asleep then. The last thing I remembered seeing was my mom looking me right in the eyes I could hardly see her through the clots of Tears but the last words I remember hearing where "If you are in so much pain baby girl you can let go don't be afraid I don't want you to be hurt."
   I flat line then I didnt. I just thought I was asleep the paramedics said my heart stopped beating and I stopped breathing almost an hour I was on and off flatlining okay flatlining okay. They were worried I wouldn't make it through the night. My mom stayed with me that whole night and the next and the next. I can always hear my mom saying could never really understand what they were some of them sounded like "don't die baby" some of them sounded like "I shouldn't have told her to let go"

       I was not in pain, I was not even asleep, I just couldn't talk, move, or open my eyes. I could hear and I could feel, I could feel if my mom touched my hand, I could feel a doctor put a sharp needle into my arm, I could feel that my mom rarely leaves my side. She told me story's, she brought my favorite books and read them to me.
My friends came all the time, one by one or all together. They would bring flowers and balloons. They would talk to me. My most frequent visitor was Adeline "I brought you flowers" she said "Guess what, Noah and Emma broke up, good news for me right?" She laughs "I miss you, I mean, we all miss you but I do aspecualy, life just isn't the same with out you. I have nobody to talk to, I have nobody to laugh with. I just miss you so much."
Just then her phone buzzed she put down my hand she was holding, she picks my hand back up, leaned in and kissed my four head.
"That was my dad, I will be back in a few days."
Others came, other when, mom rarely leaves my room and dad, well, dad never came. I know he hurd, it was on the news, in the paper, all over the internet, it was dubbed the worst crash in ten years, apparently five other cars where also in the crash two fatalities and a few put in the hospital.
All signs did point to fowal play. They say that the man driving the semi truck that hit me was mentally unstable and was hoping to take his life. He was taken into custody that same night, I just hope he is getting the help he needs.
