"Katie, I am serious, get your ass out of bed or so help..." katie's friend Sam tried to speak on the phone but was interrupted "Don't worry, I am getting dressed now and will head over." Katie tried to hide the sorrow from her voice but could not and this caused Sam to go on a meltdown saying katie wouldn't make it to her 25th birthday. Katie is supposed to fake being happy and head over to some stupid club and pretend. "Happy Birthday Sam. That is all I have to say so please believe me... That I will make it to your birthday, ok?" Katie hoped that Sam would calm down. "Ok i'm sorry Sam I will go and that is final okay?" katie said through the phone.
"Alright, im sorry, I just miss you, see you at the club." sam said through the phone and hung up. Katie looked at the time and she only had an hour to get ready, she really didn't want to get dressed up. After Katie gets dressed and walks through the door of her own house, she bumps into someone outside her door. "Excuse me are you alright?" katie exclaimed to the very handsome man standing in front of her. "Nope, not at all really, it's my fault." he said to her with an amazing scottish voice. "You are outside my house, um.... What can I do for you." katie said trying to sound nice to the handsome man.
"Oh where are my manners.. Im David... I just moved next door and wanted to say hi to the new neighboors." David said to katie, while katie was still reeling with a handsome guy as her neighboor, but having a new neighboor is actually frightening to her for some reason. One of the reasons is, a neighbor always asks for something or just wants to talk, and ever since she lost everything like her family and job, she wants to avoid people.
"It's a pleasure meeting someone new, but that will have to wait because im busy, sorry." katie said the nicest way she possibly could.
"Alright, I will see you around Katie." David said to katie. How did he know her name... All she really could think about was how attractive he was so she got any idea of him out of her head and headed to the party.
