i posted this yesterday but then deleted it earlier today but honestly the message still stands imo

i don't understand why people like to roll their eyes and make a show of being better than people who find simple things funny?

for example there's a certain youtube creator popular in the gorillaz fandom who made a video about how the bath meme "isn't funny and never has been" and i just? thought it was really pointless and rude because my attitude is that if the joke isn't offensive then i'm not going to tell someone to stop finding it funny.

that just sounds like a dick move.

if i personally don't find something funny, i just make a mental note that i didn't laugh at it but i'm not about to go find someone who does find that funny and tell them how tired i think it is.

that's why you won't find me taking the piss out of old memes because they're not hurting anyone so why should i say anything?
