June's POV

I woke up lying on someone's front lawn in my red flannel, black tank top, my skinny jeans, and my black converse. I sat up, smoothed my dirty blonde hair that took an hour to straighten against it's regular beach waves, and looked around to see three boys around my age. One was about seventeen, he had shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a black t-shirt, jeans, and old worn out sneakers. The next one had blonde hair with blue eyes. He was wearing jeans, a white t-shirt, a black and white flannel, and black converse. He looked like the oldest out of the three. The last one had brown hair and blue eyes, but looked like the youngest out of all of them. He was wearing jeans, tennis shoes, and a blue tank top.

They were sitting on the sidewalk just looking at me. The one with brown eyes and brown hair waved at me with a smile and I returned it. I slowly stood up and looked around me. We were in a run down neighborhood. People were outside smoking, drinking, doing drugs, kissing, and fighting. It wasn't a good place to be. It was actually pretty scary. I turned away from the boys and started walking down the sidewalk. I looked before I crossed the street, but realized that there was absolutely no cars in sight. There wasn't even a car parked on the side of the road or anything. I walked across the street to the other sidewalk to see that it was kinda uphill. As I was walking, I saw a group of men by a barrel that was lit on fire. They stared and whistled at me as I walked by. I ignored them as I just kept going.

I looked behind me to see that the boys were walking in my direction, but it looked like they were talking now. As I looked in front of me, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. I looked and saw a girl sitting on the curb and another girl giving her a lap dance. They started making out as they noticed me. The girl that was getting a lap dance, had black hair and she whispered something in the other girl's ear. The girl who was giving a lap dance had blonde hair and she started walking towards me. I continued to walk as I kept looking over my shoulder to see her get closer and closer. I kept walking as I was tackled to the ground. My hands were getting pinned above my head and my feet were also getting pinned downed. I struggled as the blonde got closer and closer to my face until finally she whispered something in my ear, "Let's have some fun."

I struggled even harder as she started kissing all over my face and down my neck. I saw the boys running towards us as I closed my eyes. Finally, she got ripped off of me as well as the other woman. I opened my eyes to see the boy with brown hair and brown eyes hovering over me. I saw the other boys holding off the women that attacked me. The women kept trying to get to me until finally they gave up and started walking away from us. "We'll come back for you, you little bitch! Don't you dare think this is the end of us!" The blonde women said as she swung her arm around the dark haired woman as they walked off.

The boy who was hovering over me stood up and held out his hand for me to take. I did and he easily pulled me up. I looked at him and then the other boys who were now walking towards us. "Are you ok?" asked the older boy. I nodded as he spoke again, "Allow us to introduce ourselves. I'm Carter, these are my younger brothers; Cameron and Aiden." I looked at Aiden who was smiling like an idiot and then I looked at Cameron who just now let go of my hand.

"I-I'm June and before you ask, yes it is my real name."

We just kind of awkwardly stared at each other after that until I spoke up.

"Thanks for s-saving me back there."

"It was nothing. We were just glad we got here in time. Right guys?" Cameron said and the others agreed as we started walking again. "So, how did I end up on someone's lawn?" I asked and the boys just looked at each other. "We can't tell you that." Aiden said as Carter and Cameron glared at their little brother. I curiously stared at them as Aiden just rubbed the back of his neck and looked away. Before I could answer, Carter said "There are some things in this world that are meant to be a secret. This is one of them... for now."
