I was awakened to the loud sound of my alarm in my ear. I groaned, and sat up. I hesitated on putting five more minutes, but with me realizing its 6:30, I jumped up. The damn bus comes at 7!

I took a shower, and put on darker shaded blue jeans, a burgundy crop top, and Jordan Master 12.

I grabbed my backpack, and jogged downstairs to see my mother on her phone.

I smiled. "Hi mommy."

She smiled back, and gave me a hug. "Hi honey. You heard about the bombing at Ariana Grande's concert right?"

I nodded. "It's sad." I poured. "But I don't feel like eating breakfast. I'll walk to school today by the way."

She nodded. "Bye love you."

I open the front door. "Love you too."

I left the house, and proceeded by walking down the block. I turned to see Mateo holding a girls hand, and walking towards a car. The girl was darker skinned, but had lots of hair. She looked about a couple inches shorter than him, and was skinnier, but not too skinny.

Mateo looked at me as I passed the house. "Hey."

I stopped walking. "Hey."

I pointed at her, with a smirk growing.

He smiled, and nodded. "Yesterday we got together."

I smiled. "Congrats."

She smiled at me. But the smile seemed however off. Like she forced a smile towards me.

"Welp. I'm walking today.

He raised an eyebrow. "You don't wanna ride?"

I shake my head.  "No thanks. I'll see you at school." I say, proceeding to walk.

I eventually arrived at school, and got my things for my first class which was math. I then feel hands put over my eyes, just before I walked into the classroom. "Guess who?" The male toned voice asked. It's like I could feel the person smiling.

I smiled. "Hi Jayden."

I turned towards him, and gave him a big hug wrapping both my arms around him tightly, and he did the same.

"What do you have first?" He asked.

"Math."

He sucked his teeth."Social studies."

I chuckled. "Sorry. But you'll end up later having math, and me social studies." I shrugged.

He nodded. "Yea yea." He then looked at me with seriousness in his eyes. "Teo got a girl?"

I nodded. I for some reason felt my stomach churn. "Yup. I'm happy for him. Hopefully this girl does, and treats him right."

He nodded. "I heard her name is Phaedra."

I nodded as well. "It is."

I felt like my chest was a large pit, and like a bowling ball was in my chest. I felt my stomach drop and churn, and my heart rate increase. I loudly sighed.

He eyed me. "Is you jealous?"

I shake my head. "No! No. No. N-no."

He crossed his arms. "You're worried that he would not spend as much time with you anymore right?"

I nodded, and looked down. "Yea."

He parred my back as the bell rung. "It's alright. It happens to everyone. We'll talk about it at art. Bye Moni."

I smiled, and waved. "Bye.

I walked into the classroom along with the other loads of students. Mateo walked in, and sat next to me. He looked happy.

I side eyed him while taking my math homework from my binder. "What ya' happy about?"

"We made out." He cheesed. "I never kissed a girl like that in so long."

I felt my aching pain throughout my chest, and stomach again. It felt so uncomfortable. I sighed loudly, hoping it would go away. But it was no use.

"You alright Moni?" I heard him ask. I looked at him to see him staring at me in concern.

I nodded. "I'm fine."

I think I'm jealous. I think, damnit I knowI'm jealous. I just hope he won't forget about me. I hope our conversations will be the same instead of them being filled with his girlfriend.
