"So where to next," he smiled. Earlier this morning I was greeted by the cutest smile from my best friend. Confused as to how he even got into my room was less important as to see him dressed in casual clothes with a rather large bag on his back. He only gave me the basis of what we would be doing today and simply gave me 20 minutes to get ready. Now we're in his car driving to who knows where. "Minghao, where exactly are we going? You've been driving for almost an hour now," I whined. He only put his finger to his mouth, signaling for me to be quiet. "Just 10 or 20 more minutes, can you wait that long?" I let out a loud groan, receiving a small laugh from him. I fell asleep within the first five minutes, not necessarily remembering how. I sensed that the car had halted in place but didn't quite open my eyes. It wasn't until I felt Minghao hand softly shaking my shoulder, that I had finally opened my eyes. I rubbed the tiredness away from my eyes and looked around. "Where are we," I questioned. He only smiled a wrapped his fingers around my wrist, guiding me to a blanket with food scattered all over it. I gave him a sideways glance, before letting a smile creep upon my face. "Did you really wake me at 2 in the morning to take me to a picnic dinner," I grinned. He slowly nodded, his face turning red. "Do you not like it," he mumbled. I quickly shook my head, afraid he got the wrong idea. "No, no I think it's really nice. I'm just surprised that you went out of your way to do all of this, but why," I quietly asked. He took my hand and sat me down with him. "Well... the thing is... I really, really like you. As cheesy as it may sound, I knew that you were the one for me when I first saw you," he shyly smiled while cringing a bit. I only smiled, looking at my crossed legs. He took my hand in his once more. "Let's make it official."
