Riley....Riley.....Riley...
Riley...........
A person would reverberate over and over again.
Riley......Riley......Riley...
The voice would stop.
"Mr. Arima!" Dr. Saunders would cry.
Riley awoke from his daydream with his pencil stuck to his cheek and his paper covered in slobber.
" Go to bed at a reasonable hour son!" Dr. Saunders ordered.
The class all stared at him, a few of them chuckled and made comments.
" All right everyone! Remove your attention from Mr. Arima and return it to me, your education is more important than silliness." Dr. Saunders said with a strict tone.
The bell rung.
"All right, make sure you finish your projects on your fictional countries, I'll see you all on Monday!" Dr. Saunders shouted over the bell.
As Riley stood from his seat, a jock knocked him over.
" Hey! Watch it geek!" The jock ordered.
Riley ignored him and picked up his book that was knocked out his hands. Another hand grabs the book as Riley was just about to grab it.
" Here you go!" A feminine voice said.
Riley stared at the girl for a minute, admiring her pink, neon hair tied in a bun revealing her shaved backside of her head. Then he would gaze into her blue, turquoise eyes, then her skin would glow as the sun beamed through the window.
" T-thanks, Felicity." Riley said with a struggle.
Felicity chuckled.
"No problem Riles, I'm always here for you." She said.
The two would then walk to lunch together.
" So, how's life been?" Felicity asked.
" ..Good! Why?" Riley asked.
" Well, I've been worried about you lately, you haven't exactly been, happy."
" I'm..happy but I don't have to express my happiness through my facial expressions like you do Felicity."
Felicity would chuckle.
" Oh, is my happiness too much for your emo behavior!?" She joked.
" I am not emo!" Riley said in a defensive tone.
" Hmm..defensive much?" Felicity said.
" Anywho! I am not emo, I've just had a hard time with..."
Riley paused.
" Is it your parents?" Felicity asked in a concerned manner.
" No, no, just the fact of moving...I come from a small town in Washington, and it's just hard you know."
" I'm sorry you went through that Riles, but at least try to be happy." Felicity said.
" How can I be happy when a jerk like Taylor bullies me?" Riley said.
" Ignore him and get on with your life!" Felicity suggested.
" It only takes me a limited amount of time to ignore, then I snap!" Riley said.
" Well, report him to administration." She suggested again.
" Then I'll become a snitch and get beat up or even killed? No thanks." Riley said as they walked into the cafeteria building.
" It's not snitching, it's helping yourself, I'll be glad to do it for you." Felicity said.
"No Felicity, I can handle it." Riley said.
" Hmm..I believe it when I see it." Felicity sighed.
Taylor would then bump into Riley.
" Hey! Didn't I say watch where you are going!?" Taylor yelled.
" Hey! Leave him alone!" Felicity defended him.
" Step aside baby girl, papi will save you from this geek." Taylor said as he moved her aside.
" Get your sweaty hands off me!" Felicity scratched his hand.
Taylor yelled.
" Agh! You little bitch!" Taylor said as he raised his hand, attempting to smack her.
" Hey! Leave her alone, she is a girl, you don't put your hands on a women!" Riley yelled.
" Shut the hell up you Star Trek loving little bitch!" Taylor would backhand him into a pole.
" Riley!" Felicity yelled.
Everyone in the cafeteria would hear the commotion.
Taylor began punching Riley in the face and Taylor's two followers would record Riley's beatdown.
" Taylor stop!" Felicity yelled.
" Leave him alone!" She would grab his arm and Taylor backhanded her by accident,
Knocking her to the ground.
Riley then fought back, he headbutted Taylor then punches him in the face.
The security would come.
" Hey! Hey! Hey!! That's enough you two!" The security guy cried.
The other security guy would help up Felicity.
Taylor would try to break from the security's hold and Riley glared at him.
After the aftermath, the Riley would end up in the Freshman Vice Principal's office.
The vice principal walked into the door.
She'd look at Riley and she sighed.
" Please tell me your joking!" She'd say.
" You've only been in this school for a week and you're already in my office?
"Ms. Webber....I can explain!" Riley exclaimed.
" Do you want to know why I do this job Riley?" She said.
" Uhm..what do you-" he'd be stopped as she was explaining.
" I do this job so that I can help you students get an education and be as successful as you can be, and I cannot do my job unless you juveniles act like we live without rules!" She'd exclaim.
" Are you saying that this is my fault!?" Riley grew irritated.
" No but, it takes two to fight Mr. Arima." Ms. Webber said.
" He started the whole thing! He's been bullying me since I got here! He's the reason why I can't be happy at this school!" He'd realize that he just spilled the beans.
" Oh, so he bullied you eh?" Ms. Webber grew curious.
" Hmm...have you told anyone?" She'd ask.
" Well, no." Riley muttered.
" Well, back to junior high! Lesson number one! If you're being bullied you tell an administrator or parent!" Ms. Webber exclaimed.
" That's what ticks me off about you students no of days, you keep quiet and are too chicken enough to say something if you're being picked on!" Ms. Webber exclaimed again.
"And then the person wants to fight you over because you snitched on them! So what!" She exclaimed once again.
After walking around the room yelling, Ms. Webber decided to finally sit at her desk.
She'd sigh once more.
" Riley, you are lucky to have a nice girl like Felicity that has your back, she would even take a backhand to help you."
" Wait...what?" Riley was surprised to hear that Felicity was hit during the fight.
" Uh..anywho! I won't suspend you but! You and Taylor will be serving two hours of after school detention starting Monday, is that clear Mr. Arima?"
" Yes ma'am." Riley answered in an annoyed tone.
" Good, now tell Taylor to come in." Ms. Webber ordered.
Riley would exit the room.
" Hey, Ms. Webber is ready for you." He'd tell him in a calm tone.
Taylor uncrossed his arms and glared at Riley as he walked into her office.
As Taylor closed to door, Riley and everyone in the office would hear Ms. Webber screaming like a banshee at Taylor, possibly even breaking a window.
Later that day, Riley got off the bus and walked into his mothers car.
"How was your day so-
She'd be stopped, she'd look at the bruises on Riley's arm and eye and his busted lip.
Riley's mother gasped.
" What happened to you! Did someone beat you!?" She asked.
" Who was it!? Was it that sweet, nice girl Felicity! Did she play you into thinking she was a nice ,caring girl!? She'd freak.
" Mom, you are overreacting, Felicity has a bruise as well." Riley explained.
" Oh! You two kissed and her ex boyfriend beat her and you up!" She'd exclaim.
" What? No." Riley said.
"Hm..I know! Her father has been abusing her and you decided to stand up for her! Oh my boy! Standing up for a girl and protecting her! Mommy is so proud of you!" She'd hug all over him and kiss his cheek a couple of times.
" Mom! Mom!" Riley cried.
" You are over exaggerating! None of
That happened!" Riley grew annoyed with his mother.
" Oh.Forgive me son, what happened then!?" She asked.
" I got in a fight." Riley said.
His mother gasped.
" What on Earth! Who was it and why!?" She was concerned.
" Was someone messing with my baby! I will go up to that school and beat the hell outta them myself!" She exclaimed.
" And then I'm going to beat the hell outta you for getting suspended and for fighting!!"
Oh! Wait till your father hears this!" She'd exclaim as she drove off, Riley sighed and leaned his head on the window.

They arrive at the house, their house would be a two story home with a driveway going into the garage to the right, and a stone sidewalk leading to the front porch, a small garden of flowers surrounding the perimeter of the home.
The two would enter the home.
" Hey! Guess what happened today Barry!" Riley's mom exclaimed.
" What is it Kayo?" Barry asked as he was sipping his coffee he just got from Starbucks.
" Our son got into a fight today!" She'd yell.
Barry spit out his coffee.
"Our son, right?" He'd ask.
" The one and only!" Kayo exclaimed.
" Unless you have another one, you were a player once in your life." Kayo said. " I'm quite surprised I was the one you'd chose, after turning down those sexy, dumb blondies and picking a just as sexy, foreign women." She'd joke.
" Very funny Kayo, hey don't listen to your mother, she doesn't understand..good job son! Daddy's proud of you!" Barry said as he hugged his Riley, Riley making the disgusted face.
Kayo smacked Barry with her small purse.
" Seriously Barry!?" Kayo looked at him.
" What? I'm not saying fighting is a good thing, I'm just saying at least I'm proud that he can defend himself." Barry said.
Kayo rolled her eyes.
Barry cleared his throat.
" Uhm.. son, you are grounded for the rest of the night!" Barry winked as he demanded.
Riley grew annoyed with both of his parents.
" Fine." Riley said as he ran up the stairs.

Taylor would be driving out around the city, he'd pull into a dark alley. As he advanced through it, he slammed his breaks. He'd see a figure in the distance.
" What the fuck? He'd mutter to himself.
He'd get out his car and walk towards the figure, stopping infront of him.
" Yo shithead! You gonna move out my damn way so I can drive past!" He'd ask.
The figure stands there, staring at him.
" Oh, you not gonna move! How about I help you!" Taylor suggested.
He'd attempt to grab the figure but as soon as he tries to the figure pulled out a machete and slashes his throat.
Taylor grabs his throat and falls on his knees.
The figure thrusts the machete into his torso.
The figure would then pull out the machete from Taylor and kicks him back.
Taylor would fall to the ground, the figure stands over his dead body and wipes the blood from his machete and vanishes into the night, leaving Taylor's body.
