The next morning, Riley wakes from his long sleep after going to bed immediately after his parents punished him.
His father opened the door.
"Riley get up! You're going to miss the bus!" He'd exclaim.
"What..what time is it?" He'd ask.
" 6:30." Barry answered.
"Shit!" He'd exclaim.
He'd hurry and throw some jeans and a hoddie and rushed into the bathroom brushed his teeth and washed his face, then went back into his room threw on his Vans and rushed downstairs grabbed his backpack and finally out the door.
Riley rushed to his bus stop, realizing he only had 3 minutes till the bus came.
As he got there, the bus was just pulling up to the driveway. He got on the bus and sat in seat number four.
He'd be out of breath, his hair would be messed up.
The three other kids he gets on the bus with sat in the back as they got on, but one of them misses the bus because he fell.
He'd arrive at school, three police cars would be there and news vans would be everywhere.
Everyone in the bus would just stare at the sight even the bus driver.
They got off the bus and Riley would then see news reporters in front of the center building as the buses rolled in.
Felicity ran up to him.
" Hey!" She'd yell.
" Agh! Jeez Felicity you scared me." Riley would be spooked.
" What is going on?" He'd ask.
" You don't know?" Felicity asked.
Riley shook his head.
" Taylor Prescott was murdered last night." Felicity whispered to him.
" What?! Now way!" Riley yelled.
"Shhh..we can't talk about it they'd think we know something." Felicity said.
"Come on, let's go to breakfast, we'll talk about it there." Felicity insisted.
The two would sit at the table.
" So, do they know who did it?" Riley asked.
" Nope, there are rumors though." Felicity said.
" And?" Riley asked.
" Well, uhm...people said that, you killed him."
" What!" Riley exclaimed.
" Shhhh..don't get so worked up, they're just rumors." Felicity said.
" Do you believe them!?" Riley asked in a rude manner.
" No! Of course not!" Felicity yelled.
" Riles, I would never, you know that."
"You're right, sorry." Riley apologized.
The bell rung, telling the students that it's time for first period.
" I better hurry, my class is across campus." Felicity said.
" But ill talk to you at lunch."
Riley nodded, he would stare at her as she rushed to her class.
He'd sigh.
Riley walked to his Math class which was in the same building as the cafeteria.
He took his seat and begun doing the warm-up.
The bell rung again and a couple of students ran in.
The teacher walked into the classroom a minute after they walked in.
"Aaron! Isaiah! I saw you two, lunch detention both of you!" She'd order.
Both of them said "dang" and walked to their seats.
The teacher wrote their names on the board.
" Alrighty then, Good morning class!" She'd yell.
The class would repeat.
" As you all probably heard, one of our beloved student, Taylor has been deceased last night. There will be interviews with a few of his closest friends, associates, and nemesis." She'd say as she sat down at her desk and began taking attendance.
A police officer walked into the room.
" Is there a Riley Arima!?" He'd shout.
Riley raised his hand and in fear and the class looked at him.
The police man signaled him to come with him.
" Ooo Riley murdered Taylor." A student would say as he passed.
Riley looked back at the class and then followed the policeman.
" Detention Mr. Saxon!" The teacher would yell.Meanwhile, the policeman and Riley entered the principals office. The principals and the chief of police would be inside, including a detective.
" Hello there, are you Riley Arima?" The detective asked.
" Okay, this is ridiculous! My students would never commit a crime like this!" The principal exclaimed,
" Dr. Brent, no one is saying your students is behind this but, the victim did attend this school, and everyone in this city is a suspect." The detective said.
" Watch the attitude detective!" Principal Brent yelled.
" Pardon me!?" The detective would say.
" Hey! You both cease the argument!" Chief Burton ordered.
" We are so very sorry about this Riley." Principal Brent said.
"No, you are fine sir." Riley said.
" Amywho, I'm Detective Blankenship, we just want to ask you a few questions about Taylor Prescott."
" I'll...answer anything question you'd like to ask detective." Riley tried to act calm.
" Excellent, now how close to the victim were you." Detective Blankenship asked.
" Well, we weren't really...close at all, he and I had a very....strained relationship." Riley said.
" And why was this relationship strained?" Blankenship asked.
" Well, he use to bully me, and we got into a big fight yesterday at lunchtime." Riley stuttered.
Detective Blankenship began to be suspicious with Riley.
" Where were you, yesterday night?"
" Well, I know I was at home, I passed out after I got home." Riley said.
" Hmm...and can anyone confirm this?"
" Yeah, my parents."
" Hm, an anonymous student that we previously interviews say a different thing, they say they saw you out and about on High street, where Taylor was killed." Detective Blankenship grew even more suspicious.
" Well whoever your anonymous student is, is obviously lying to you, my parents would never let me walk out the house after dark on a school night." Riley said.
" What, if you sneaked out?" Blankenship asked.
" What if I didn't." Riley got sassy.
Detective Blankenship got quiet for a moment.
"That's all the questions I have for you Mr. Arima, please return to your class."
Riley nodded and excited the office.Meanwhile at lunch, Felicity would run into the cafeteria building.
She'd see Riley sitting at a table by himself.
"Riles! I heard they interviewed you! What did they ask you?" She'd seem concerned.
" Oh, just the usual." Riley said.
" Did they interview you as well?" Riley asked.
" Yeah." Felicity answered.
"This is awful, I cannot believe this is happening, I mean Taylor is a complete asshole but, no one deserves what he got." Felicity said.
" Hey, are you alright?" Riley seemed concerned for her.
" Yeah, it's just...incidents like this...scare me." She'd say.
" Well...try not to think about it, be calm and cool about it and you'll be just fine." Riley suggested. " I'm always here for you Felicity."
Felicity smiled at him.
" Thanks Riles, that means a lot to me."
Riley stared at her and gazed into her eyes again, admiring their beauty.
" Felicity.." he'd say.
" Yes, Riles." She'd answer.
" I....I." He'd struggle to say the words.
Felicity would stare at him and wait for the words that are about to come out of his mouth.
"Ohayo gozaimasu Felicity!" A male would cry.
They both jumped.
" Aaron! what the hell!" She'd say.
" What, I was just kidding around." He'd say.
" Choushi wa dou!? Riley!" Aaron asked.
" Hey Aaron , FYI ohayo gozaimasu is only used in the morning, its 12:30." Riley said.
"Aww man, I thought I was right that time." Aaron said.
" Well you weren't." Riley said.
" Well excuuuuuuuuuuse me! Sorry that my mom isn't Japanese." Aaron yelled.
" Relax, I was only helping you bud." Riley said.
Aaron sat down next to Riley.
" So, did they interview you guys as well?" Aaron asked.
Riley and Felicity both nodded.
" Why'd they interview you? You don't have any relationship to Taylor." Felicity asked.
" Well, I played on the same baseball team as him and we live in the same neighborhood." Aaron answered.
" Oh." Felicity said.
" Hey, have any of you seen Sonya, Lumi, John, Andre, or Korina?" Aaron asked.
"No actually, but Lumi is at home, she feels that if she comes to school, she'll be depressed with all the interviews." Felicity said.
" Oh yeah, she was his ex girlfriend, she would've been a prime suspect." Riley said.
" That's dumb, they'll just go to her house." Aaron said.
" Tell her that." Felicity said.
" Pfft..yeah right, I'll be my butt kicked."
They'd all chuckle.
The bell rings.
"Well, time for 6th period, sayonara!" Aaron ran off.
" Wait Aaron, don't have me go to class myself!" Felicity yelled for him.
Felicity sighed.
" See ya Riles, I'll text you later." She'd say as she ran off.
Riley would stare at her again.
He'd sigh.
Later that evening, Mrs. Zansky was in her home waiting for her husband to show up.
She'd stroll around the living room, looking out the window.
" Where is he?" She'd be concerned.
She'd check the time, it'll be 9:00 at night.
Her cellphone would ring.
She'd immediately pick it up, it would be her husband.
" Oh honey thank goodness you called, where are you, I've been worried sick!" Mrs. Zansky would ask in relief.
" I just pulled up around back, I'll be in shortly, open up the patio door." Mr. Zansky said in a rush.
" But, you know that the patio door is broken, why are you asking me to unlock it?" Mrs. Zansky asked.
"Oh, that's right sweetheart, I forgot all about it! I'll just come through the the front." He'd say.
" But, I don't see your car in the back and why didn't you park in the front like you always do?" She'd ask.
" Well, I wanted to be different today." He'd reply" I'm really tired from work Allison, just open the front door!" He'd get annoyed.
Mrs. Zansky would be suspicious.
" Don't you have a key?" She'd ask him.
" I actually left it on the coffee table this morning." He'd say.
She'd look at the coffee table. Nothing was there, Then she realized he keeps his house key on his key ring attached to his car key, and she saw him with it this morning when he left in his car to go to work.
" Oh, okay, I'll be right out."
Mrs. Zansky walked into the kitchen and grabbed a frying pan from above the stove, she heard the doorbell ring, she'd jump.
"Just a second!" She'd yell.
She'd slowly approach the door and a dogs bark startled her as she approached the door.
She breathed in an out, then opened the door.
Nothing was there.
She'd sigh from relief.
" Just a prank Allison." She'd say to herself.
"Just a prank." She reverberated.
She then closed the door and locked it.
She turn around and sees the killer, he attempts to slit her throat.
She'd push him towards to the front door as he ran at her.
She'd run into the kitchen with the pan she had.
The killer would follow.
As he got closer, she'd swing the pan.
She'd repeat this again three times until the killer grabs the pan and throws it down.
She'd run back into the living room.
She'd then run upstairs.
The killer followed her and then caught up to her, grabbing her left leg pulling her down the stairs.
The killer grabbed her and pulled her up. She'd try to escape his grasp.
The killer kneed her in her stomach and threw her down.
" Oof!" She'd cry out.
She'd try to crawl away, the killer stabs her in the back.
She'd let out a cry.
He'd do it again.
He'd then keep stabbing her backside.
He does it about 10 times.
He then stands over her body and places a paper down on her head, then escapes through the front door.
After the killer left the house, the entire house explodes.
