31 - Spring Rose Kayla Night

I heard the door open. Daniel was the first to come running in. "Hi, my little man!" I say excited. "How was school?" I ask. "It was cool, Mom," He said, "Can I have a snack?" I nodded my head, "Yes but go upstairs and change." Than I see Justin and Summer.

"Hey Summer," I say happy. But she just says hi and goes upstairs. Justin noticed it too. "What's gotten into her?" I ask.

"I don't know.. she's been quiet on the ride home, do you think something is going on?" Justin asked. "Maybe," I respond. Justin gave me a peck and ran upstairs. I got Daniel a snack and went upstairs. Summer's door is partly closed.

"What's going on Rose?" I smiled Rose is his nickname for Summer. "I don't know.." he sighed, "Did someone bully you today?" He asked.

"No... My friends were talking about this..." She showed the hole and finger going in. "Emma didn't want to bother cause she knew that.. she was too young for that so she told me don't say anything..."

"Well if I got you a juice box and some Gold fish would you be happy?" He asked her. She smiled than nodded yes. I went into Daniel's room and gave him the snack he wanted. "Thank you." He said.

"Hey what did you learn in school today?" I ask. He said, "We learned about rocket ships and we read a book today. We also colored for The kissing hand it was cool." I smiled.

"Well Your Dad and I will be downstairs hon," I say, Danny responded with an okay. I went downstairs Justin got a Juice box and some Gold fish. "Can't you believe her friends but Emma were talking about it?" He asked.

"Well there getting to that age but change the topic when it pops up with her. Will give it till she's 10 years old," I reply.

"That's why I love you," Justin said. We kissed than he went back upstairs. Now I can go the dishes for cook dinner. I decided to make Tacos those were Summer's favorite. I did the dishes and washed the pan for it.
Until I heard a knock on the door, I got it of course. Than I see my best friend Kayla Montgomery and Daniel Blake there uncle. "Kayla! Daniel!" I let them in and hugged them both. I heard foot steps down the stairs. Summer ran to Kayla, "Hi Summer!" She said hugged her.

"Daniel!" Than he picked him up. And hugged little Daniel. Justin came down, "Danny! Kayla!" He went to hug them all. "Why didn't you say you were coming to visit?"

"Well Spring and I made plans this weekend that's why I came," Kayla responded. "I came here to see little Daniel and see my twin brother."

Daniel hugged me. Than hugged Justin. "Hi Uncle Danny." Summer said.

"Hey Summer. You look gorgeous, just like your Mom," I smile at his comment.

"Hey Daniel let's catch up shall we?" Justin said with his eyebrows​ furrowed together.

"Sure," He said.

"Spring, let's catch up about what went on with me and our bestie Cameron Rosiline." Kayla said. Summer and little Daniel went upstairs.
