It had been two weeks since the gang had started staying at Love~Love Paradise resort. They were going to be there for the whole summer, and so far, they were all having a great time. How Dante and Aaron got tickets in the first place was a complete mystery to all of them. It had been brought up a couple of times, "AAAND look at this cool thing!" or something along those lines. At some point, that was going to stay a mystery.
Early on when they got there, rooms had been chosen. Katelyn, Zane, and Dante had their own rooms while Kawaii~Chan and Lucinda shared one. Garroth slept on the couch, for some unknown reason, and Aphmau and Aaron shared a room. Correction: they were supposed to share a room, until Katelyn got mad and asked, no, commanded Aaron to sleep on the couch. Kawaii~Chan opposed to this, rather terrifyingly, but Aaron still slept downstairs. He didn't have to, but he knew that Katelyn was important to Aphmau, and he wanted to earn her trust. Aphmau was a bit disheartened about this at first, but she appreciated the notion. she thought he was a good guy. Scratch that, a great guy.
Aaron and Aphmau had been dating for a month, and so far it was amazing for both of them. They both cared for each other deeply, and it was apparent everywhere they went. They had a long history together, and it made their current relationship all better. Even when they were apart, they were communicating in some way, shape, or form. The two of them were connected in every way, excluding one.
It was 10:00 at night when Aphmau thought she had finished her activities for the day.
She did her normal nightly routine: take a shower, brushed her teeth, and threw on an oversized nightshirt. She only did this because there was no one else there, but if Aaron had been sleeping in the same place as her, she would definitely have some shorts on or something. She was uncomfortable wearing anything too revealing in front of Aaron.
Around 11:30, after Aphmau had finished reading the latest edition of Fairy Tail manga, she engulfed herself under the covers and went to sleep. She was out like a light.
At exactly 12:00, there was a knock on her door.
"Aaaugh, who isss it.." she said, sleepily. Not to mention, she was cranky. She hated being woken up.
"Aphmau....It's me."
She bolted up. What was Aaron doing awake at midnight? And why was he coming to her?
"Aaron? What are you...come in, it's unlocked."
The door opened, and he stepped in.
"What's wrong?"
He had an annoyed look on his face. "Uh...G-Garroth is...um...snoring really loudly."
And with that, she understood. What did she do next? Laugh of course! "Pfft, is he really that loud? That's hilarious."
The way Aaron sighed wasn't hilarious though.
"Aww, it's okay," she said as if she was talking to a small child, "you can sleep with me." She held her arms out towards Aaron while giggling and slightly blushing. Just thinking of Aaron sleeping with her made her quit scared, but she was too sleepy to think about that.
Without a second thought, he closed the door and hopped on the bed, which wasn't very far. he wasn't bothered by Aphmau's teasing. It had been an ongoing thing between them since they were in high school. He gave her a peck on the forehead as she settled back into bed. A few minutes later he fell asleep as well.
