"Mom ka'i o'o ea?" (Mom we there yet?) I cried out, feeling my muscles tie itself inside my body. A four hour flight, and a what?... three? four? five? hour drive to your new home can really make you cranky like sh*t. For an example... Me.
"Pepe toetiti o'o ogosai ia" (Baby girl were almost there. Just be patient) my father said looking at me through the review mirror.
"Fine" I mumbled, before looking outside the window and watched as houses and cars passed by.
Your probably wondering who I am? and were I came from? Right? Well let me explain.
My names Tahila Manulua, and am 17 years old and a Samoan. Yeah you got that right...Samoan.
Anyways, I use to live in a place I called home, a place where even though you ain't blood related to someone you still call them your Family.
I missed everything there, the food, the people, my school, and my best friend Liora.Solo. awh I miss her, she was my pocket full of sun shine I use to laugh and slay with.
And because of this sudden movement,I didn't get a proper time to hang with her before I left.
When I first heard that we were moving to America, I became livid.
I couldn't leave Samoa, it was my home, my life, everything. But I knew my Father needed this job. His been during to get this job since he heard of it on the global news.
( A/N just think of a really high job because I really don't now any at the moment)
And I knew how important it was for him, to finally have his dream job come true. So not being the typical Samoan who murmurs a lot, I agreed.
But even though I miss my Homeland, am kinda excited to explore America. And see what an American School feels like.
