Chapter One

"Maureen Zobel de Ayala, the dean is calling you.", tinawag pala ako ng professor namin at tumango nalang ako bilang sagot. Isa akong top student or should I say Dean's lister sa Enderun College. I'm taking BSBA Major in Financial Management kasi I'm gonna take over as the CEO after a few years.

As soon as I reach the door, parang may kinakausap pa yung dean.

"Hi Dean, excuse me po. You called me daw?, I asked. "Well, apparently, yes. As you can see, Maureen, we have a new student from Brent International School Manila and is planning to take BSBA Major in Financial​ Management din so as my top student, I want you to tour him inside Enderun, and join him muna until he finds a friend. Uhm..... Mr. Pangilinan, kindly introduce yourself kay Ms. Zobel de Ayala", isang mahabang mensahe ng dean. Paano niya kaya nakayanan na sumabi lang ng sumabi at straight pa ha?

"Hi miss, my name's Donato Antonio Laxa Pangilinan but you can just call me Donny nalang", pag-iintroduce niya at ngumiti. "Hello, I'm Maureen Beata Zobel de Ayala but Maui nalang and I'll be your guide inside Enderun. It was nice meeting you", and I smiled. Uy, ang cute kaya niya.

"Okay, so I'll leave you two here na because I'm gonna attend an important meeting. Good bye", pagpapaalam ni Dean at sinirado ang pinto. "So, Maui, where are we going?", bigla niyang tanong. "I'll let you choose two options: (1) Gym to Canteen, OR (2) Study hall to Gym", sagot ko naman kay Donny. "I'll choose the first option nalang since canteen yung last stop", sagot niya. Well, if I was given a choice like that yan din naman pipiliin ko eh.

Makalipas ang isang oras ay natapos din ang pag-tour ko sa kanya at sa canteen yung bagsak namin.

"So, Donny, what do you think of Enderun?", tanong ko sa kanya. "Well, Enderun is a nice place. I feel so cozy here, and thank you nga pala. It was fun. I'll treat you nalang to make bawi sayo", pagsusuggest niya na i'treat ako. At dahil blessing ang treat, syempre​, go agad. Umorder nalang siya ng dalawang pizza, mash potato, fried chicken at beef teriyaki na may rice . Halaaaa. Ang dami. "Hala, Dons!! Mauubos ba natin to?!", tanong ko. "Oo naman! Hahaha. I know it's lunch na and you're hungry touring me around.", sagot niya. Well, totoo naman eh.

Pagkatapos nun ay kumain na kami ng tahimik.

"Uhmm, nga pala, Maui, diba Zobel de Ayala ka? So, how are you related sa may-ari ng Ayala Corps?", tanong niya sakin. Well, I get that a lot na din since my last name is Zobel de Ayala. "Well, my grandfather is the founder and my father is the CEO of Ayala Corps. and thats also the reason why I chose Business Ad. because I'll soon take over as the CEO", sagot ko naman. He honestly looks familiar din. He just nodded as I replied. "Uy btw, you look familiar! Like I've seen you sa isang TV show or something", sabi ko. Promise, kaso nakalimutan ko kung saan. Hehe. "I've joined a lot of TV Shows because of my father. You know Anthony Pangilinan? He's my father then Maricel Laxa, the actress? She's my mother kaya it's not a question na why you've seen me in those.", sagot niya.

"So, you're planning din pala to join show business? Ganun? Wag mokong kalimutan once you're famous na ha. Hahahahaha just kidding lang", sabi ko, napatawa nalang siya. "I'm actually planning to join kaso I think I wont be famous enough for that. I just want to follow my mom. I want to make every one happy ganun", sagot niya sa walang kwenta kong tanong. I just curtly nodded and ate.

"Uhmmm, Dons, mauuna na ako sayo ha. Pinapasundo na ako ni mama. I'll see you around ha. Thank you ulit!", pamamaalam ko. "Thank you din ha? I'll see you around and can I get your number? Just in case lang", he asked. Binigay ko naman agad ang number ko since ako lang yung kilala niya. I ran to the car and we waved goodbye to each other. Damn, he's cute ha.

10:09 PM

*Bzzt, bzzt*

FROM: +63915*******
Hey it's me Donny. Thank you again 🙃

I changed his name and replied.

TO: D👻
Yeah, sure hahahaha:) good night dons xxxxxx

After a few minutes, he replied

FROM: D👻
Good night, Maui. Sleep well :)
