{Ayaka's POV}

    Life seemed to go extra slow. A terrible pain in her skull, an agonizing ring blocking out every other sound.

    The curse of the migraine.

    Nothing looked right to her. Ayaka's vision was fuzzy, and she could barely hear the soft swoosh as she received a text from someone. She tried to get herself out of her little cradle of blankets to reply, but couldn't bring herself to. The pain was too much.

    She exhaled into her blanket fortress. It was terrible, she couldn't even bring herself to find some pain killers from her cupboards. It was probably the shittiest feeling, being helpless to the point of being stuck in a motionless pit of nothingness.

    Ayaka closed her eyes, falling in into the tempting darkness. The ringing, the pain, it all seemed too much. With her head against her knees, she fell into a deep rest.

{Oliver's POV}

    It was about nine O' clock, and Oliver was worried. He had texted Ayaka hours ago, but she never replied to the boy.

    It probably seemed weird to others. He had asked Angel if he should've worried, and she didn't really care. He wanted to go see, but felt worried it would seem weird. Was he being to clingy?

    Oliver tapped his screen again, checking for the response he wanted, hoping he just missed the notification sound. Dismay struck him as he saw the screen, blank except for the current time. He had a gut feeling, something was wrong. Ayaka always replied to him eventually.

    With no better ideas, he texted her again.

    Oliver: Hey, just wondering if you're okay? I'm gonna come over, since you have replied at all. Hope it doesn't seem weird, just want to make sure you're alright.
Text you when I'm there.

    The boy breathed out silently, worry coursing through him. He slipped his phone into his pocket, and headed to grab a jacket.

    If something was wrong, he would find out soon enough.

~~~~~
    It was gently raining now. The clouds dropped small pellets of water onto Olivers head, annoying him more with each one. It wasn't supposed to rain today, so he had grabbed a light coat, hoodless. But apparently the weather decided to screw him over.
    The trek to Ayaka's seemed longer than normal. All was quiet, except for footsteps and the pitter patter of the rain. A soothing sound, but it always gave off an eery vibe to him.
    He spotted Ayaka's pale blue house, not too far up the street. As he got closer, he noticed one of the top windows had a soft glow, signaling to all passerby's that someone was home. He wondered what she was doing, Ayaka would never leave a light on, and she never ignored his texts.
    Once he arrived at her doorstep, he paused. Should he really be here? The thought seemed to drown out everything else, until he brought up the courage to knock. The sound echoed around for a moment, but got nothing in return. Oliver knocked again, feeling more concerned now. Once again, nothing.
