Chapter 10: the mystery

  Carter's P.O.V:

The beach was so fun I just couldn't stop thinking about jordyn and her beautiful voice, I never met anyone like this, Ive been with a lot of girls but she's different like really different, but I'm scared if she dosent feel the same with me, what if things change between me and her? ok Carter you're over thinking everything, when we went back to aly's house we decided to sleepover since it was late so we decided to watch a movie and I sat by jordyn and put my arms around her neck and she put her head on my shoulder and then her head went in my chest and started to cuddle with me and fell asleep.

I stayed up with Aly,Nash, and Matt until aly fell asleep I stayed up with Nash and Matt, I was so phased out Matt asked me "bro you ok... or naw?" I looked at him and just smiled I didn't really wanna talk to them about my feelings because they give the worst advice ever except for Nash he's pretty good at it, anyways matt and Nash both fell asleep I was still wide awake all I could think about was Jordyn, literally the whole day all I could think about was her and her soft lips, and her hazel eyes.

I just didn't know what to do until I thought of an idea, I should ask her out but then I thought I don't know how to ask her out, like I asked out a lot of girls but this is so difficult because I actually really really like this girl I'm like in love with her, when I looked at the time it was 6:30 and aly got up.

"hey Carter,did you sleep at all last night and what happened to Nash?" she asked smiling.

"Nope I got stuck on thoughts and couldn't stop thinking about stuff, plus he crashed about 4."

"haha ok, so that "thing"... wanna talk about it?" she asked me.

  While I was thinking I finally thought of it, I could ask aly to help me, she looks like a person I can trust and she looks like she was really close to jordyn. so I replied back and said " Yes, actually and specifically you." everyone else was still sleeping. Aly and I walked in to the kitchen so we could make breakfast for everyone before they woke up.

  So I said slowly "so this thing,its about jordyn."

she replied "yea what about her?"

"Well as you know...... We both like each other but, we're not official yet. And well I really like her like really really like her, and I did ask out girls before without anyone's help but she's different so since you knew her the longest can you help me?"

"You want me to ask her out?" she laughed . "No, not like that. Help me ask her out, like what's some ideas or ways I can ask her out?"

" Well, I'm glad you asked me, Well first of all Zoey would tell her through text behind your back and Lia well, she can't keep her mouth shut." We both laughed. Before I could even talk back she interrupted me "Hey, I'm kind of lazy to cook... wanna go buy breakfast instead."

"Sure I'll pay." but she smiled and said " We'll both pay." Aly was really chill and cool and I actually could talk to her about jordyn.  I grabbed my keys and we both walked to the car and went in.

  " So aly..... about thar jordyn thing. I really like her, I think I love her." I said with relief because I actually do love her. She looked at me with a smirk and said " Aww, thats so cute." I looked at her and said "shutup, anyways how should I ask her out to make it official? I want it to be special because she's special to me and she deserves it." "well...... we can plan another "get together" But you and the boys set up the places where ever it is and I'll blindfold jordyn and drive her there." she said

I didn't know what to say because it was actually a really good plan so u just played it cool and said "cool" I really wanted to say "thats the best plan ever" but ya. But she cut my thoughts and said " cool. thats it?" so I looked at her confused and said " nevermind, scratch that, thats not what I meant to say."

    We finally reached McDonald's , I drove up to the drive through and while I was ordering I kinda felt like the guy thought we were fatasses so I said "oh I have a lot of friends at home" and he looked at me with an understanding look. We bought 15 breakfast sandwiches and 15 drinks, we payed about 30$. During the whole we talked about the whole jordyn plan.

When we finally reached to Aly's house everyone was up talking,  playing video games and watching tv but there was a person missing,  it was Lia....... I figured that she just went to hang out with her long lost brother, everyone asked where we went jordyn was worried about us but then she saw the food and figured it out herself, but it was funny I had no call or texts from any of them, but it was alright. We started to eat and started to talk about how fun the dat was yesterday and since it was still summer, we should do more stuff like this all together.

Jordyns P.O.V:

   I heard that Carter and Aly was up and they were talking all I heard was that Carter wanted to ask me out and thats when they left, I was shcoked Carter wanted to ask me out!!!!! In my head I was like " Finally!!" and my head was screaming! Then I was wondering where they were going but didn't wanna ask but when I got up I was looking around and Lia was gone, I guessed she left to go with Jacob..... While we were waiting for Carter and Aly I was starving so I decided to get fruit roll ups and started playing video games.

Finally they came back I was worried but then I saw the food and in my head I was like thank God but anyways we went to the kitchen and started eating and talking about his great yesterday was, until I noticed that jc was gone,  we threw away our rubbish and saw a note it said "hey guys I left to go do something I forgot, don't worry about me, Love Jc Caylen ♡. Well he said to not worry but I kinda was so I just left it, then Aly's parents left to go somewhere for a week so aly asked us if we can stay at her place for a whole week because she didn't wanna stay by herself so we all said yes to staying at her house so we went to my house first because my house was the closest I just grabbed a lot of clothes,snapbacks,and my shoes and clothes for lia. When I went back in the bus everyone was like "what did you bring the whole closet? " and started to laugh. I looked at them and rolled my eyes and said "yes I did, you guys have a problem ... no well thats what I thought." Carter looked at me and smiled "I like a girl with attitude. " I looked at him and gave him a smirk and said "well I guess I'm that girl. " and gave him a wink. Then we went to the other guys house and then finally Matthew's house was last because he lived the farthest, so he asked he needed someone to help him and we all pointed out to aly because it was his plan to get close to aly so we all laughed at her because she gave us the finger. I was with Carter of course and we were just talking and laughing, I just felt really comfortable around him.

Then finally Matt and Aly came back, I was wondering what took them so long,  when they came in they looked sku awkward like they did something.  But I ignored it when we came back to Aly's place I grabbed my stuff and put it in my room, I always had a room in Aly's place because well her mom loved me but she only had 7 bedrooms minus 1 because one was her parents room so we had to share.

Me and Carter shared rooms, Matt and Zoey, Cameron and Aly, Jack and Jack, Zach and Aaron,  Nash and Hayes, and of course the 2 missing people Lia and Jc.  But I was getting really worried so I called both of them and they both didnt answer, I kept calling and still no answer. So I called Carter them and told them so me, Carter, Zach, Zoey, and aly came with me to go look for them. They weren't anywhere to be found so I finally called the police and told them that my 2 bestfriends were missing, they came as fast as they could and they started investigating all of us and I started to cry because my sister was no where to be found,  the only person that was there with me through everything, Carter was comforting me and everytime I always feel better.

The next day I went to my house and saw a little basement, I never thought that was there .... until I heard something screaming and banging so I went in.
