"Here." I handed Archie an ice pack to put on his black eye, "He really does have a strong arm." I told him, seeing the state his eye was in.
"Yeah, I was at the other end of that arm." He scoffed and laid down on the sofa, "Wake me up when it's time to go to school for the pep rally."
"Sure thing." I kissed his forehead and went up to my own room. I check my phone, that had been on charge, and saw over 50 messages from Reggie. They all were apologising a million times over but there was one message that was actually interesting - a message from Veronica.

I dropped my phone on my bed and changed into jeans, a white t-shirt and a blue flannel. I put on my Doc Martens and was walking downstairs when someone was ringing the doorbell persistently.
"I'm coming, I'm coming," I yelled and opened the door to Reggie.
"I'm sorry Zara." He said the very second I opened the door.
