What's happening to him? (Chapter 11)

*Alex's point of view*

I was walking home quite quickly from school because during lunch when we were talking about where David was Liza looked at me and I know she knows I'm hiding something. I knew she was going to try catch up to me so I walked fast until I heard her call I'm my name. I slowered my pace but then hurried again,
"ALEX! Wait! We live in the same street so you can't really run away from me!" She said kind of shouting because she was a few meters behind me.

That's when I stopped, I had to...
"What Do you want?" I asked kind of acting angry even though I knew exactly what she wanted

"I was just coming to keep you company, you don't need to be angry at me!" She stopped and walked the opposite way.

"Liza!" I asked in an annoyed tone but I wasn't annoyed. "I'm sorry, I'm just tired" I felt so bad for her. She came running back to me almost staright away.

"Where's David? I saw you at lunch time, and I know your hiding something." Ugh

"Nope, i don't know anything, why would I? He told us he wasn't feeling well so that's why he didn't come to school"

"Alex, come on! I know you know something." She said sounding a bit needy

"Fine. I know why he's not at school but he's only ever told me and no one else knows why.  I wouldn't be a good friend if I told you."

"Ok fine, but thankyou for telling me that there is something wrong"

We walked for quite a while very slowly, and very silently. None of us said anything until Liza spoke.

"Is he getting abused?" She said very suddenly.

*Liza's point of view*

I had to ask, it was obvious he had some sort of family problems.
Alex just looked at me and continued walking.

"Does that mean yes? Alex, tell me, this is serious!"

"I know shit this is serious! I go visit him every night! I sneak into his room every night, it's basically my night routine, I leave all my clothes there because I sleep there. He's to scared to be alone! Liza I know this is serious!" He said getting quite angry, I could tell he was upset. "I'm sorry, for shouting at you, it's just David is basically my brother so it hurts me to see him in pain. If I were you I would go see him"
