I watch the clouds float above as I stare blankly at the sky. Clouds are one of the most freest things on earth. Clouds float above everything. Every heart break, every headache, and every idiot on the face of this plant. One day I'm going to be one of these clouds and I'm never coming back down.

------------

I got up early that morning for the first time in a weeks. Why should I? it's not like someone is waiting for me to wake up. I throw my feet off the side of the bed and stretch. I look at my phone on my night stand and see that my mom has texted me.

Mom- Make sure you don't forget to take you medicine :)

I sigh 'She acts like I can't take care of myself.' I put my phone back on the night stand, as I get up out of bed and walked to my small closet. I look through the tons of black skinny jeans and many different types and color of shirts. Some flannel, some short-sleeve, most long-sleeve, and not a single dress.

I put on one pair of my black skinny jeans and a simple low-cut white tee shirt. As I throw my old PJ's into the hamper in my room, I exit my room and haunt down my coffee cup from the night before in the living room. Once I found the cup, (That was on the coffee table surrounded by tons of homework that are barely half down.) I go into the kitchen and wash out the left over coffee.

When all of sudden the next door neighbor's girlfriend comes storming out of the out of his house, yelling and cursing as she walked swiftly with two bags hung over both shoulders. That's when my neighbor came running out of the house, his long spiky salmon hair blows wildly in the wind. She's open the driver side throwing her bags in the back seat and proceeds to close her door, but he puts his hand in the way to keep her from closing the driver side door.

She shouts at him, pleading him to let her go. Of all their fights I've never heard him yell until today. I couldn't hear much from inside of the safety of my house, but it was something about him going far away from her because of a girl. Eventually he lets out one more frustrated scream and slams her door shut and starts to retreat back into his house, but not before he looks over at me staring at from the kitchen window. I don't know if he see me but he just ignored and goes inside.

Weeks passed and winter break is almost over which means, I'll have to go back to college and once again leave my mother and live a lonely life of studying day in and day out. I was finishing the last chapter of a novella for writing class, when all of a sudden I heard a tap on my window. I jumped slightly in my chair and looked up towards the window to the left of my desk, when I see familiar blue Haired fiend. We used to be best friends but she has changed a lot since we got into high school.

"Levy?" I questioned as I opened the window, but stood in front of it, so she couldn't get inside, "What are you doing here? I haven't seen you since I left for college." I said confused as to why she was at my house at three in the morning.

She laughed slightly uncomfortable, "Lucy, this is me, we are talking about." She said with a devilish grin that makes shiver, scared of what she wanted, and whenever Levy is involved it's bad news. "Anyways I need a favor." She demanded, with the face of an Angel, but eyes of the devil.

"Levy, I can't Anymore, I have to do a lot of homework before I leave back to college tomorrow." Her faced looked annoyed, but quickly changed. She had a smug look this time, one that means she is up to something.

She raised an eyebrow, "Lucy I thought we were friends." She said, making me scoff, which made her take a step back in disbelief. She quickly straighten her posture, "What?" She says as if she dares to me to speak again.

Tonight I must have been very daring, "Sorry, but since when have we been friend? All you do is order me around, I really wouldn't call that a friendship." She stared at me stunned by my sudden out burst. "If you are done staring would please get off my yard, So I can work on more important things that doesn't involve you." Her face grew red with anger.

She looks over the left of her and nods to signal she was leaving, but who was nodding. I got my answer as she was walking with a familiar salmon hair man. 'My neighbor?' As soon As I thought that he turned around and stared for a few seconds before giving a small wink and turning back around. I quickly shut my blinds and soon felt my checks burn, 'I think I'm getting a fever I better go to bed before It get worse."

The next day...

I was loading up my bags into my car getting ready for my trip back to college, which I was not ever happy about. Every time I leave my mom it just keeps getting harder each time. Mom was up stairs packing up the of my bags, the day was hot and in the distance you can storm rolling up. 'I better leave before it gets to bad.' I thought as I started to make my back inside to help my mother.

"Hey!" A man's voice shout's and I turn around to look at him to see who he was talking to, when I realized as he walking toward me I realized that he talking was to me. I barely got a step away from car when he walked up to me. The man walking toward me had long black spiky hair, with facial piercing all over his face, and his arms were covered in tattoos.

"Um... hello?" I said taken back a little bit at his appearance. I hold on to the handle of the car as If it could protect me from the large man in front of me.

"Are you Lucy Heartfilia?" When he gets closer to me. I nod slowly to his question. I watch his bright red eyes darken from anger, "Why are you talking bad about my girlfriend and making her cry?" He said full of rage.

I didn't know who he was talking about at first, but then it hit me like a door, 'Levy..' I thought to myself. "I never talked bad about her, I only said we were never friends and I can't help it, if she cried over that." He grabbed me by the shirt and pushed me up against my car and got really close to my face.

"Don't dare go anywhere near her again, Do you understand?" I was about to say something smart back to him, but someone pulled him off of me and moved in between the man and I.

"Back off Gajeel!" He said and the man who I'm guessing is Gajeel starts to walk back slowly away from my savior with a slight look of fear in his eyes now. I look up at the back of the head and see the color of salmon. 'What is he doing? I probably shouldn't complain though.'

"This isn't over Heartfilia!" Gajeel shouts one last time before stomping his way back to his car and driving.

My neighbor finally turn around and looked at me with concern all over his face. "Are you okay? What was that all about?" He asked, but I just shrugged my shoulder.

"It won't be my problem, I'm leaving today." I said and he raised an eyebrow trying to get me talk some more and it totally worked. "I'm going back to college today." He smiled gently, making my heart flutter.

"Well be safe!" He give me a quick wave goodbye before head back to his and then stopping half-way and turn around and looked at me, "And try not to get into any fights, I'm not always going to be their to save you." He give one last wink before disappearing into his house.

I felt my cheeks heat up once again,  'I really need to take my cold medicine before it gets worse.' I thought walking quickly into the house.
