After the car crash I just wanted to stay in my room. Of course my brother went to school, pretended to be tough, But every day as he walked though the door ready to say " mom! I'm home, But knowing that no one would be there to greet him and say " how was your day honey". I could see his disappointment and sadness on his face, Soon after a while, this really nice lady came to pick us up and brought us to her home.She said that this is were we would be living with her until we got a proper home. Her home was normal, it had 2 floors and a medium sized yard. But some thing was missing. Where are all the children? Maria was her name and Larry was her husband, He was just like my dad , but worse. I knew alrighty to stay a way from him.
On the second month with out my parents, Me and Barney had to go to a different school. These kids were mean and bigger than me. I was afraid that I would be bully like Barney. Since he was smart he always gets bullied, I tired to defend him but as always, I always get knocked down to the ground.
