"you promised!! you promised you'd never leave me!!" I sobbed, beating on his chest while he held me tighter.
"My love I know what I said, but I will never leave you. I love you so much baby but im doing this for you, for us..." he managed to chock out.
He was leaving me...my one true love was leaving me for 2 and a half years, going to Afghanistan. I knew when I married him what would eventually happen but, I never knew it would hurt this much.
"I love you Christian, so damn much baby *sobs* please dont go" I cried softly into his chest while he stroked my hair.
"I'm leaving tomorrow morning...at 6 a.m." this caused me to look up at him slowly stepping back. "I've known for a while now, I decided it would be best to tell you the day before."
"y-you kept this from me, all this time we could have spent together instead of working."I shook my head slowly turning around but not before seeing a single tear fall from his cheek.
"I'm sorry..." I heard him whisper for the last time two and a half years ago
