My Boyfriend Is A Vampire

"You look beautiful"he said to me wth charm.

"you do to...well...i mean.. handsome.", I said nervously. We both laughed for a moment.Then he cut in and said,

"So are you ready to go?"

"yes", I said with a smile. We walked outside to his car.

"oh my god, is that your car it looks amazing!", I said estatically.

"yes", he said with a small laugh. I looked at its red shininess it's truly amazing. He opened the car door for me and i got in and then he went to the other side of the car for him to get in. When we were fully seated i asked'

"so where are we going?"

"well i was thinking we could go to the movies and then go to the mall."

"perfect!" The rest of the car ride there we talked about things at school.When we were there it was packed probably because the Hunger Games movie. He went to my side to open the car door for me. He's such a gentlemen. we walk in and thank goodness he bought tickets online it was like a zoo in there. We got some popcorn and a drink. So walked in and suprisingly we got good seats.

I have a tendancy of covering my eyes when there sad parts so when i did that in the movies he put his arm around me. It felt like i was in heaven. We linked eyes for a moment, we were about lean in for a kiss, but he looked away.

 It was preety akward for the rest of the movie ever since he did that. I thought to myself did i do something wrong, but i dont think i did somehting wrong. Is it just he wants to be friends. Well all I know now is that i want this movie to end so I can talk to him about it. Finally, the movie ends.

      But when the movie ends and where walking out he holds my hand.OMG there freezing but I dont say anything about it. So does this mean only friends, more than that, or nothing. When we're outside the movie theatre i ask nervously, 

"Did i do something wrong, is that why you didn't want to kiss me?"

"No of course not julianna."

"Than what is it?", I said in a soft voice

"it's nothing.", he says. It sounds like he's hiding something and i'm going to figure it out so I let it slide for now.

      When we went to the mall he bought me a dimond earrings.

"it's beautiful, thank you Devon!", I say loudly.

"your welcome sweetheart.", The rest  of the time we just looked around in stores. When we're done  and we're at my house and he's about to walk me in .We stare into eachothers eyes. 

"Devon ,I have this feeling every time i'm by you and it can't go away.its like you cast a spell on me but if you dont like me just tell me now beca-

    He holds me close to him and he cuts off my word with a almost kiss. Then he holds my hands and then lets go.

  He quickly pulls away and says,

"I have to go.",he says in a soft voice

"What's wrong, Devon"

"Sorry Julianna i just have to go", He runs to his car and looks back at me and gives me a sad look and drives off. I stand there still unsure of what just happened. It happened so fast I couldn't even process it. Was I illusinating how fast he ran to his car.

      I walked in my house still shocked of the events that just occured. Was that my imagination or was that just him?? It couldn't of been him.isn't that impossible or is it? I thought to myself maybe i should just sleep it off.

     I wake up the next morning still remembering what happened yesterday. I should text him. I look at what time it is and it's 9:30a.m. He might be awake, i'll just text him anyways.

--devon are you there--

--i don't think we should talk anymore--

my heart sank why would he say that right after he almost kissed me?

--what do you mean?--

i knew exactly what he ment

--i think that we should stop talking for a little bit--

--why--

--becausee.....its hard to expplain i'll see you at school on monday bye julianna--

--wait--

There was no reply.I started to feel water running down my eyes. The only thing i have to say is why. WHY did he turn away when he almost kissed me? WHY is he so cold? WHY was he so fast getting to his car? WHY doesn't he want to talk with me anymore? WHY???

      I spent the rest of the saturday laying in bed, watching T.V. So on sunday i finally decided to text Lilian about what happened.

--Hey guess what happened --

--what?--

and i told her everything from the phone call I gave him to hang out to the kiss he gave me and how he left. I just left out the part about how how cold he was.

--oh my god i'll talk more about this with you on the bus, ok?

--alright, I'll see you then--

        I wanted the day to end fast because i just wanted to talk to Lilian about  it on the bus. But the day was the exact oppisite. So I was happy when i finally fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and did my daily routine. When igot on the bus Lilian just looked at me in shock.

"hey, Lilian."

"hey, and lets talk about what happened with you on friday, Why did he do that?"

"I have no clue."

"well, are you going to talk to him when we get to school?"

"I dont know yet."

"you should." and by the time we were done with our conversation we were at school. I stepped off the bus annd walked into the school building. Then I went to my locker to get my biology notebook and of course i have that first out of all days. When I closed my locker on the right side of me was Devon.

"I'm sorry for what happened yesterday", he said. I just stood there looking at him and i finally got the courage to say,

"I thought you didn't want to speak to me.", I said in a sharp tone trying to cover up the tears that wanted to escape my body.

"You don't know how bad i wanted to stay there for another moment and talk to you i just coudn't"

"And why is that?", I looked away and walked to my next class-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
