Kaylee’s POV:
Getting into the car with the boys a lot of thoughts were going through my head about what had just happened with Justin and Allison. None of us were expecting him to react like he did, especially not Allison. All we wanted to do was find out why he was late, he had his entire team worried about him, the least he could’ve done was give them an explanation, but he seems to not care.
“Kaylee you okay back there?” asks Fredo from the passenger seat turning around to look at me.
“Yeah, I was just thinking about some things, that’s all” I respond as I feel Ryan’s hand on my lap.
“Okay, well if you need anything just let us know okay?”
“We’re almost there anyways, so if she needs something she can wait.” I hear Justin’s voice answer for me. I get that he might be still angry about what happened with Allison and irritated for god knows what reason, maybe is the screaming fans or paparazzi we encounter coming out of the arena or maybe something crawled up his ass and died, but there’s no need for him to be acting this way with us, we’re his friends not a piece of gum stuck on his shoe. If Justin thinks that we’re going to let him treat us this way then he’s got something else coming for him, at least I know I won’t let him.
“What the hell crawled up your ass and died?” I blur out without even thinking twice.
“What?” he says turning around to face me as he parks the car in the empty parking space as the others try hold back their laugh.
“You heard me, you know usually is us girls acting like a complete bitch to everyone and being assholes, but that’s when we’re in our period, you on the other hand, I don’t know why you’re being such an asshole tonight. Now, I might just be getting to know you all over again but from what’ve seen tonight I don’t know if I want to, or if I even want to be around you anymore. Seriously, did you really have to yell at Allison like you did when all she was trying to do was find out if you were okay?! God, do you even know how much effort and sweat everyone put into that show, everyone working backstage, running around making sure everything is perfect, just so you show up late not giving a single fuck about their efforts and then not even bothering giving an explanation or apologize? Or how about your fans? How about those girls who- who stood outside for hours just hear you sing and then you show up late and act like a jerk throughout the whole show complaining about how loud they were or how they kept throwing stuff on stage. They’re your fans, they were only trying to get noticed by their idol who clearly doesn’t give a shit-“
“You don’t know anything about me or my fans!” he yells with anger dripping out of every word.
“You know what yeah, you’re right I guess I don’t know you after all, since I thought you were a sweet caring person, when in reality you’re just a big asshole who doesn’t seem to give a fuck about anyone besides himself and his overdramatic wannabe actress girlfriend, I guess I was wrong.” I say opening up the car door and getting out, not bothering to wait for them or take a look back. I’m just really mad and can’t seem to think straight, this whole night has just been one big disaster and all thanks to that asshole.
Walking into the club I’m greeted by a big tall bouncer and couples everywhere dancing dirty on each other as music blasts from every direction. I quickly make my way to an empty stool in the bar towards the back and order a cup of water, the bartender gives me a weird look before disappearing to get my water, I take this moment to take a deep breath and let it out to try and calm myself down. Looking around the club I see people dancing, some seating at the empty booths, guys trying to hit on girls and someone throwing up by the bathrooms.
“Your drink mam” says the bartender handing me my glass of water.
“Thank you” I say taking a sip of it before turning my attention back to the dancing couples on the dance floor.
