Chapter 1

A group of grade 12 students each sat at their chairs they were assigned to. More specifically, 6 best friends that were assigned in different seats of the entire classroom. The teacher was standing in front of a large black chalkboard which was full of chalked writing of information which the students had to write down in their notebooks for upcoming exams. They were studying geographic areas to document about.

"Class, you will be set into groups of 10 and will be ventured off into separate locations for 2 days and 1 night tomorrow, make sure to take notes about the location because...you will have a small exam on it after." The teacher finished as groans came from the students.

"Ahh, enough of that, let me put you into your groups." The teacher said, walking to his desk.

The 6 groups of friends were partly separated. Since there was only 4 groups, one would be left alone. And that one was Fluttershy. Rarity and Pinkie Pie were partnered with a group to go to a modern city-like location which was what Rarity wanted. Rainbow Dash and Applejack were both partnered with a group to go to a place that was more of a rural setting. And then there was Twilight, she was at another group by herself going to a lake. Last but not least, there was Fluttershy. She and her group were chosen to go to a forest and camp there for a night.

~~~ 3 Days Later...

It had to be about midnight by now. 9 students came running out of the burning forest. They each had ashes from the trees all over them and were coughing. Firefighters now came and were trying to stop the sudden forest fire. The teacher was there along with the rest of the students. When the 5 other friends arrived, they looked everywhere for Fluttershy, especially Rainbow Dash. He ran up to the teacher.

"Where's Fluttershy!?" Rainbow yelled from the noise coming from the forest fire being loud.

"She's--" The teacher looked around.

"Where is she!?" Rainbow asked, yelling again.

"She's still in there!" The teacher yelled, causing Rainbow to immediately run straight threw the forest, grabbing an oxygen mask before leaving. But before Rainbow could fully enter the forest, he was tackled to the floor by a firefighter.

"What the fuck!" Rainbow yelled.

"You can't go in there!" The firefighter yelled.

"Let go of me! I need to get her!" Rainbow yelled.

"That's our job!" The firefighter yelled.

"You guys can't do shit!" Rainbow yelled, pushing the firefighter to the ground and sprinting into the forest, putting his oxygen mask on while running.

"Where is he going?!" The professor yelled.

"He needs to get a girl!" The firefighter Rainbow just threw to the ground said.

"Rainbow is gonna get himself killed!" Rarity said to her group.

"He's not gonna stop, he loves her." Applejack said.

Rainbow kept running and running for a long time. He knew the route that Fluttershy's group took so he followed it in his mind. Crushing burning leaves along the way and the burning trees around him falling either in front of him or behind him. But he wasn't gonna quit. He knew Fluttershy was in need at this very moment and that she was scared so she needed Rainbow Dash. And he didn't want to quit because he loved her, more than ever, even more than best friends. They both knew each other for a very long time, since they were in kindergarten. If he quit, that would not and never want to be the way Fluttershy would die, she deserved to live. She worked hard and it would be a huge tragedy if she left like this.
