Valentine's day

Mondo had wondered what to do. It was he day before Valentine's Day and he needed to give Ishimaru something. He knew his boyfriend would probably give him something romantic and meaningful and wanted to return the gesture. He wasn't good at romantic surprises (or romance period, he always wondered what ishimaru saw in him) and he just once wanted to see his face light up when he saw his gift, but what would do that? He questioned what the perfect gift would be for him. He saw many Valentine's gifts at the mall but none of them suited the prefect well. He saw bouquets, candies, teddy bears, and many more things that you would expect a store to serve on that day. He considered texting kirigiri to see if she had any advice on gifts. If the detective didn't know then it wasn't likely others knew. He decided against it since it wouldn't really be a heartfelt gift if kirigiri was the one who picked it out. He sighed and got what first came to his mind: A bouquet of hibiscuses along with a soft red teddy bear.

The next day

Mondo woke up to the sight of Kiyotaka staring at him with a gentle smile on his face.
"Good morning" he said upon seeing Mondo open his eyes. " I got you something special that I know you'll love."
Kiyotaka left the room for a few minutes and returned holding a fluffy white puppy in his hands. Mondo stared in shock at what his boyfriend had gotten him. He knew it would be something heartfelt but he never could've expected this.
"I know how upset you were when your dog died so I thought that the perfect gift for you would be a new dog. Hope you like it."
Mondo couldn't stop himself from getting very emotional. He felt like he was on the verge of tears. He presented Taka with the gifts he had chosen.
"Sorry" he said. " You got me something like that and I just got you these. I know it's terrible, I'm sorry."
Kiyotaka proceeded to wrap Mondo in his arms and gently kiss him on the cheek, causing the biker to slightly blush.
"Thank you." He whispered " A gift from you is all I could have asked for. Besides, it's not the gift that matters to me, it's you.
Mondo proceeded to return his boyfriend's affection by returning the hug and kissing him on the lips. He was able to give Taka the gift that he deserved. He couldn't have been happier than this.

Note: This is my first attempt at fluff and I'm happy with the results. Seriously I can just imagine mondo being a bad gift giver and Taka just being completely happy at his gifts. That is honestly a very pure and happy thought. I plan to make the next parts longer than this but we'll just have to wait and see.
