Chp::7--Battle Of Fairies

--------------------------Harvest Festival, Fantasia Day & Miss Fairy Tail Contest-------------------------


A burst of a firework woke you up that morning. You saw that everyone was lively and the villagers where all over the streets.The whole town was amazing! It was filled with decorations and various people who came to visit for the Fantasia Parade. You were so excited by just that, how much more when the contest and the parade starts?
" Wow, I never wondered how beautiful Magnolia is. It really was a good thing that I came here..."

" to join Fairy Tail..."

After few minutes of preparation, you then decided to head into the guild. But before that, you put on the ring that Mavis gave you few months ago. Its silver lining that surrounded the blue diamond reflected on your (e/c) eyes. The little guild symbol in the middle sparkled like the midnight sky. But then you were cut off when you sensed something.

" What's the matter (y/n)? " your exceed asked a you froze in your current position.

You had a strange feeling. You didn't know why but it feels like something's not good about today. You closed your eyes and concentrated. You can sense a powerful magic coming from someone. But you didn't know. As you concentrated further, you saw a blurry image of Fairy Tail mages. They were all surrounded with a dark aura. You could notice that the man in the middle was surrounded with flickering lights and along with him are two women and a man.

' Is this something to do with the large burst from yesterday? '



' He's here... '



A vision from yesterday popped in your head. You remembered about the "one" Erza was talking about yesterday. You opened your (e/c) orbs slowly as it revealed the figure of a blue cat right in front of your face.

" HEY THERE (Y/N) ! WHAT'S WITH ALL THE THINKING? " the blue exceed shouted as you were shocked and moved few steps backward. You then stopped as you felt someone behind you. You realized that it was not just someone. It was Natsu, who was with Lucy, Erza, Gray and Wendy.

" Oi (y/n) , you okay? " the flame mage asked as his exceed raised an eyebrow.

" It seems like your not in the mood today huh?what's the matter?" said the ice mage who placed the back of his hand on your (s/c) forehead.

" Do you need any medical assistance (y/n)? " Wendy asked as she started using her healing magic

You just signalled a no using your hands as you gave them an apologetic face.

" Oh Im fine. Don't worry about me guys I just thought of something, but never mind that okay? " you said as you, together with the others walked through the door and headed your way to the guild.

You soon forgot about the whole ' strange feeling' thingy. You were at the backstage together with the other contestants for the Miss Fairy Tail Pageant. You could see nervous expressions in their faces as you are called one-by-one to the stage. The goal is to please and to entertain the audience. The first one was Cana who used her card magic to transform her outfit into a wha-- ???

A SWIMSUIT?

Audience bursted out shouting as the card mage's well shaped body was shown. The showdown continued with Juvia who used her Water Magic and transformed into a swimsuit as well. Bisca who used her rifle to create perfectly holed coins, Levy who used her Script Magic to create different words, Mira which in fact everyones bet who unexpectedly used her Copying Magic to imitate her guildmates faces, Erza who requipped into a Gothic-Lolita costume and Lucy who cheered together with her spirits ( this is not really the order of performances from the real one ). The whole crowd gone crazy with the performances.

As the announcer soon called your name, ear deafening yells and cheers blasted in the guild. It even seems that the shouting was heard even in the other side of Magnolia. But anyways, as you stepped in the stage, you then consentrated in your magic. Streaks of sparkling midnight black shadow served as your smokescreen as you transformed your dress into a sultry black swimsuit adorned with shiny black feathers that surrounded the chest part of the bikini. Your (h/l) (h/c) hair was tied up high with a red ribbon. As the smokescreen started to dissapear, a pair of pitch black angel wings fluttered and a gust of wind blew the hot air away from the guild.

You dressed up as a Dark Angel!

Earspitting yells and cheers made the whole guild shake like crazy. You can notice Natsu, Gray and even Gajeel's face flushed with a pinch of pink but you just didn't mind that. After your performance, you and the others headed back to the stage to listen the results as you heard someone talking.

" You call yourself Fairies? Oh no,"

The figure slowly walked towards the light.

"If there's someone here who would win this contest, It should be a real Fairy...eh? " the lady spoke as she revealed herself. Smart looking glasses framed her face properly and a leafy inspired outfit was worn by the lady.

" Cha~ it would be me! Evergreen of Fairy Tail's Raijinshuu ! The one and only Fairy!" the lady added as she stopped flutterring her feathery red velvet fan then slowly took of her eyeglasses.

" There's no way you can win against a real Fairy..."

" ( Y/N ) ! don't look in her eyes! " a guild member shouted


' What's happenning? I can't move! '


You and the others were slowly turning into a stone statue as you quickly thought of a plan to escape. Luckily, Evergreen didn't notice you. She was busy complementing herself when you tried to escape.


" Shadow of Darkness! " you cried as you turned into a shadow, escaping the stone spell. You can see the others trying their hardest to escape but they soon turned into solid stones. Your stone statue remained standing right there even if you escaped. Little did they know,the real you were in the shadow of your statue.

Suddenly, a lightning struck the guild. A muscular blonde man with a long feathery jacket that was lazily placed in his shoulder appeared together with the lightning. You can recognize him...


It was the guy in the middle! The one that you sensed earlier!


Along with him and Ever was the two other members of their group, Soul Controller Bickslow and Rune Mage Freed.


The thunder mage spoke as everyone in the guild listened furiously. He declared a war. "The Battle of Fairy Tail". Everyone in the guild must defeat the four of them for the sake of the guild and for those who turned into stones. Its like destruction for the sake of destruction and fighting your friend for the sake of your other friend. He explained further and told you that there is no escape in the game and that there is only about 3 hours left before the stone statues turn to dust. Runes surrounded the whole Magnolia so everyone has no chances of escaping. He soon dissapeared together with the other three mages.

Without waiting for any signals, the guildmates started searching for the Raijin tribe. Alzac, Jet and Droy looked together only to be trapped by one of Freed's runes. A new rule was created and they had to fight each other to save the others. Only the strongest or the one who won could continue the battle. The defeated comrade is out of the game and was not allowed to participate again. Some were really aiming to win the match for the sake of others. Gray also started to fight and went out of the guild. Behind him was Master Macarov and Natsu who also wha--?

Natsu couldn't get out of the guild door, even the Master! Runes blocked their path and he was not able to do anything. Natsu stormed at the guild hall, demanding that it was not fair. Gray was their chance but could he survive?


Fairy Tail was in a real disaster as of this moment. Gray stumbled upon Bickslow after the long search. He however managed to make some damages to Bickslow but in the end, he lost.


Then a thought projection of Laxus appeared in front of Natsu and the Master. He was going to make a deal with the master. At first he refused but when he saw that there is no other chance of winning he soon thought. Seeing your comrades get defeated is not the true meaning of Fairy Tail. The master could not handle the battle between the comrades anymore.

" Fine then,


I surrender " the old man said in a low voice but the blonde man refused.


" A master could not surrender at a time like this! But if you really wanted to stop the battle, then surrender your position to me and let the whole Magnolia know! "

He wanted to be the next Guild Master and he wanted the old man to give up the position to save your comrades from fighting. But the master refused. However, the lightning mage gave him a chance to think and the projection soon turned off.


You then returned to being human again after using shadow magic to escape. Later that time, something suspicious was going on behind the counter. It seems like someone was busy playing with irons. Gajeel soon appeared and walked confidently towards the guild door. And as expected, he as well, couldn't join the fight. Argument between the two dragon slayers filled the guild. Fire was flying everywhere in the guild. While the conflict was still going on, you noticed Erza's stone statue beginning to crack. They didn't even noticed you nor the cracked statue because of their childish fight. Erza too managed to break the spell. That's when you both realized that her other eye wasn't affected because it was artificial which had possibly lowered the effect.


" Don't you dare copy me you dumbass ! "


" What did you just called me you—"


" That's enough you two..." the armored mage ordered as they were surprised to see the two of you standing alive. Happiness was reflected on both slayers faces as they saw you safe.

" Look, we don't have much time. Everyone is fighting. And as a fellow Fairy Tail member, I would risk my life to save you guys. I may not look like it, but I could do things that you could not even imagine. Having this guild mark in my body is not just for classification. It's a sign of family membership. So me and Erza are going to go out there and fight. As soon as we could figure out a way to save you guys, we would let you know" memorable statements came out of you mouth as you and Erza walked towards the guild doors. You secured your cloak in your shoulders as you prepared.

" Go get them (y/n) , Erza . But just make sure to leave Laxus to us 'kay? " Natsu gave you a wide grin and a thumbs up.

" Well, wish us luck guys. Don't worry, we'll do our best" you gave them both a playful punch on the shoulders.

" Well, you ready (y/n) ? " the red head asked you as you nodded in respose. You looked at (e/n) which you summoned a while ago. You smiled at her and the three of you gave out a long sigh as you boosted yourself. You ran towards the village together with Erza, defeating everyone in your way. You soon sensed Evergreen and attacked her.

" Claws of Darkness! " you shouted as you attacked her and sent her flying. But unexpectedly, that woman could fly and attacked you back. Erza however managed to sneak in to your fight and joined you.

" Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun! " the fairy woman casted as thousands of needles were sent flying to your direction.

" Stone ey—" you were so shocked as you saw Erza threw a punch in her face. Hitting it directly and made the Fairy dizzy. You used your magic to pin Evergreen on the pillar as she started to speak again.

" Even if I cannot use my stone eyes magic on you, I could still control you. Now, bow down and surrender yourself to Laxus! "

You thought Erza was under her control but she requipped into her Heaven's Wheel Armor and summoned a hundred swords. Ever had victorious smile tatooed in her face but was soon frozen perfectly due to the flashing swords that surrounded her. Erza signalled you to finish her but you just punched her face and gave her a serious glare-- chibi style.

" Release Lucy and the others at once! " you shouted on her face as she completely lost herself.

" I....I....su...suren.....surrender..." Evergreen admitted as she undoed the spell.

The spell was broken and the other ladies was free. Runes from the guild wrote the winners and the losers. A lot of members are already injured and was defeated. However, you gave them the strength to stand up.

" ( Y/N ) ( L/N ) and Erza Scarlet vs. Evergreen..."




" Winner: ( Y/N ) ( L/N ) and Erza Scarlet"



You and Erza continued to search for the other Raijinshuu tribe. The both of you split up so you could cover more ground. You then stopped and looked up, seeing thousands of floating lacrima in the sky. Each lacrima contains lightning which would directly struck those who would attempt destroy it. You heard about it.

The Thunder Palace...

Meanwhile on the guild, the master collapsed and was unconcious as he saw the thunder palace. Bisca managed to hit one of the thunderbolt lacrima. But as a result, countless lightning struck the mint-haired lady. She remained unconcious and was sent to the infirmary along with the master.

As you continued to search for Raijinshuu, you ended up with the battle between Mirajane and Freed.


' Oh I get it, the other woman from my vision was actually a man with long hair.'


Seeing Juvia and Elman so weak, you stopped there to help. You were so amazed as Mira transformed into one of her Satan Soul. No wonder that she's an S-Class, she's strong. Cana was also there and helped the two injured mages. Freed was down. Mira returned to being a human and told the mint-haired mage to make his own decisions. The fight ended as Freed and Mirajane removed themselves from the game. On the other side of Magnolia, Lucy and Loke defeated Bickslow which gave way to easily crush Laxus now that all his guards are down.

Meanwhile on the guild, Levy solved the runes in order for the two dragon slayers to join the fight. After a while, you came back to the guild only to witness the master unconcius. You couldn't stand seeing the master like that so you went after Laxus.

Gray had also made his move, even though if he was already defeated by Bickslow, he could still manage to lead his comrades to destroying all the floating lacrimas. Warren's telepathy helped in achieving this and in communicating with other guild members scattered all over Magnolia. You and the others had forgive each other from what had happened earlier. Aside from that you and the others volunteered to help destroy the Thunder Palace. While all of this is happenning, you are nearing the Cardia Cathedral where the on going fight between the two dragon slayers and Laxus is held. The three of them was all injured but not as much as Natsu and Gajeel. The lightning mage could still continue and was going to cast the powerful 'Fairy Law' as...


" LAXUS! STOP! " you yelled while catching your breath





' who's this woman? ' the lightning mage asked himself as you continued




" Your grandfather, "



" he is dying! "



" LAXUS!!! "

You shouted to the end of your breath as he continued casting the spell. He threw it straight to Natsu and Gajeel's direction. A flash of blinding light force was about to struck them as you blocked it allowing the perfectly casted Fairy Law to hit you directly.




" NOOOOOOO!!!!"
