Chapter 18

It was night time and everyone parted ways. At first, Eunha planned to head to her old house back but Yerin didn't allow her to do so.

After a quick bath, she lied down on the bed when her phone from the nightstand rang. The caller ID was unknown and she was not in the mood so she rejected it but it kept on ringing. She surrendered and picked it up.

"Speak"

'Woah..Woah.. I'm the boy you bumped into  just now. You have not saved my number, have you?'

It didn't take her long to recall the incident and she realised that she just gave her number to a stranger.

''I'm sorry but what is your name so that I could save it"

'Kim Mingyu. Call me Mingyu and you are?'

"My name is Jung Eunbi but everyone calls me Eunha"

'I'M NOT WRONG! YOU REALLY ARE EUNBI! I KNOW YOU FROM THE FIRST TIME I SAW YOU!'

Mingyu suddenly shrieked on top of his lung which had Eunha jumped in shock.

"What the heck you mean by that?"

'YAH!EUNBI! MS.GALAXY! IT'S ME MINGYU THAT ALWAYS BOUGHT YOU ICE CREAMS'

Eunha thought for a while then realised that he was her childhood friend that lived beside her house but moved away when they're twelve. It gave a painfuk memory for the both.

Yuju was also a part of them and together with the another boy named Lee Seokmin. Seokmin also moved away along with Mingyu.

"Oh my God. Mingyu, how are you?You have grown so tall"

'I'm fine! I think I got to go! My mom is calling!You know my mom'

"Ah..Okay. Pass my regards to her and hey!we should hang out! What about the day after tommorow? It's Sunday!"

'Sounds GREAT! You should invite Yuju and I'll invite Seokmin!Deal?'

"Deal"

Eunha started to text Yuju. After knowing that her childhood friends have come back, she has actually forgotten what had happened between her and Jungkook.

I have a great news

Do you still remember our childhood friends?
Mingyu and Seomin
They come back

Eunha, seriously
It's not funny.
Come on.
Stop playing tricks.
We ain't kids.
Both of us know that they have already moved out to Canada

I am not doing any tricks
I have even invited them to hamg out this Sunday and I am asking you if you could join.

Yuju
You sure you are not lying, aren't you?

But how can you keep in touch with them again?

Deep inside, Yuju is really anxious about this. It's been a while since they last met and it turned out bad. They may be just twelve by that time but Yuju and Seokmin had developed some feelings toward each other without the others knowing include Mingyu and Eunha.

Of course, Yuju had no feelings for that and she has already had Jimin. Besides, they were now twenty and were apart from each other for like eight years.

Eunha's POV

It's Mingyu

My longlost buddy

We can keep in touch again

Fckig yeas!

"Yah!Jung Eunbi!"

"What the--Are you crazy. Do you how to knock the fckng door. You are ruining my mood" I glare at him as he innocently look at me.

"What? It's not my mistake tho. I have been for like ten minutes and yet you hadn't realised that I am here looking at you like an idiot smiling to yourself. What happened?"

"None of your business"

I scoff and click my all time favourite game, Angry Bird. I could here the bathroom door closing, guess that he gives up.

Jungkook's POV

Should I tell her I lie?

She looks happy and if I tell her now..
I really don't want to ruin her mood and besides, she won't trust me ever again.

But it us my fault, I lie to her. Get yourself together Jeon. You must tell her whatever the consequences are.

You can't break her trust ever again!

I come out from the bathroom and she is still playing with her phone. I stare at her for a while and I get sweaty.

I should tell her.
It is my mistake.
I had chosen a stranger over her.

"What?Is there something you wanna tell?" Eunha snapped him.

"Uh..uh..Yes..Actually there is"Jungkook took a deep breathe as Eunha was anticipating his answer.

She really hoped that he told the truth. Although she has known it and if Jungkook told her with his own mouth, it could lessen the burden.

"Actually, I didn't have any meeting in the office just now" he stuttered.

Pretend to be shocked Eunha answered, "What do you mean?"

Jungkook took a deep breathe and started answering her. Telling her everything. Without any lie hanging.

"Why did you do that?" she asked

"I-I have just met her!I swear!So I wanted to lije know her and yeah she actually needed some comfort for her problem about her ex"

"Why must it be you? Borrow me your phone. Show me the chat between both of you"

He widened his eyes. He remembered that he has ever written down that he didn't have any lover and a single human-being.

"M-My phone?"she nodded and Jungkook  passed her his phone.

After she had read it, she really felt the urge to cry but she held it and played it cool.

"Care to explain?"she showed his phone.

He scratched the back of his neck and smiled cheekily."I'm sorry. Forgive me please"

He persuaded her with an aegyo which was his weapon to deceive her and only to her, he did that.

Then, he hovered her while smirking. Eunha was feeling uneasy down therr.

"Wh-What are doing? Get off me"

"Still mad at me?"

''Of course!" She answered confidently, almost in a defensive way. Jungkook leaned in, reducing the distance between. "Really?"he whispered. She gulped and nodded.

He started to lean in more further. Eunha closed her eyes but she felt nothing. Instead of something she had imagined, he laughed at her

"What are you thinking?"

Eunha was flustered and closed herself with the blanket. She turned around and slept. Jungkook chuckled and turned the light off.

He lied down beside, wrapping her waist, back hugging her.

"I'm kidding. Please don't be mad again"He kissed her cheeks and snuggled closer, burying his face in her hair.

Eunha secretly smiled and drifted to dreamland
