Shay Patrick Cormac X Templar Assassin! Reader fluff boyXgirl

*usual guys. The request stuff. Lmao.

"Sir, I have been told that you wanted to see me?" The templar assassin says as he opens the door of his master. --His finely, dark pitched, and mock red coat were aired and pressed properly. The scar on his eye was fading year by year. The thin movement of his scarlet lips moved.-- Haytham Kenway, the master; sat on his grand chair behind the polished desk. Haytham said to him as he signed him to sit down on the quilted chair beyond his perspective; "Ah, yes. I called you for a partner to come. The same rank but--" The master and the assassin were cut off by the door opening again, revealing another assassin, dressed in a f/c hood with a pair of dark pants and black boots. The hood was off to reveal her porcelain face. "You arrived, Y/n. Take a seat." Shay looked behind him and observed the new, female, assassin. Her eyes were fierce but behind them were sad tales. Shay then looked back at his master and asked, "She's my partner...?" Haytham nodded, hands clasped together. Y/n then muttered under her breath, "Under my conditions." Haytham then burst in thought, when the statement has been reminded by saying, "Oh, you are under her conditions, Shay. Perhaps following a bit of her rules will be allowed in your perimeter, no?" Shay gave a scoff and replied with a bit of irritation and stubborness, "But, master, she is only a lady with no further technique than I." Y/n shot up and slapped Shay right in the face, that triggered her, "How dare you?!"

Haytham stood up and settled Y/n down to her seat and gave Shay a sigh of vexation. "Shay, maybe, not all women are combat trained or intelligent to fight. Perhaps learning your mistake now will be remorseful of you." Y/n gave a frown, stood up from her seat, and left by saying to her master, "I must leave, Kenway. I have other miscellaneous meetings in the Bureau. We shall meet on another day." She then left and went off.

Shay crossed his arms and asked, "Why must she be so triggered about what I have said?" His Irish accent echoed, the Kenway placed his hands on the desk, and told him a sad story. "Shay, she is sensitive..." "Too what? She is an Assassin with-- I don't know-- short temperament." Haytham frowned, his eyes darkening. "Y/n arrived the same fate as you, but in other speculations: she is a victim of something dark." Shay took interest and sit there to listen more.

"Her family was murdered by the Assassins, including her older brother. She was just a child. Foster care, abuse, et cetera. She was abused, sexually and physically that she might've been traumatized by your words. Y/n may be a woman, but she is like no other. She has been training hardly, Shay. Perhaps peeking at one of her forearms will lead you to a reason as well."

Shay took aback and felt sorry for his actions. Haytham took notice of this and replied, "You must apologize, Shay. She really is one, lucky, girl we have." Shay nodded and left after taking in his mission.

Reader's POV

One simple thing, Y/n. You messed it up... I exclaimed in my mind. I regret the action I had done. Even the day when I lost my parents. It was always like this, all over, and over, and over again. Like a movie playing again. Fast-forward, I want to skip everything. But I always knew that I had a reason to live. I needed to kill those assassins. Those shadows who killed my family, and my dearest brother.

I walked down the halls and to the streets. Hiding or blending in the crowds. In a distance, I saw the Assassin's Bureau. I quickly sped up my pace and entered my destined area. I saw a few comrades and a leader of the Bureau. "Hi, can I help you?" I smiled and asked, "Do you have any smoke bombs for now? If not, any guns and gunpowder?" The leader paused for a while and brought out his book which was filled with his expenses. He placed his hand on his chin, rubbing it as he searched, he then look back at me and smiled, "Well, we do have the bombs and gunpowder, the stock for the firearms will arrive tomorrow." "Okay then, where is it?" The leader raised his hand and showed me an isle where the bombs were. I thanked him and proceeded.
