Afternoon coffee

At the bowling alley...

We're all in the same lane Tristan goes first followed by Brad then me. I throw my ball and turn and sit down.

Brad: you do know you just got a strike right?

Me: yep

Brad: (looks confused) I didn't know you were good at bowling

Me: (looks smug) well you never asked

Bowling has finished now and were have just go back to brads.

Brads pov:

Connor: shall we like watch a film?

Me: that sounds great how's pitch perfect?

Everyone nods when we got in we all got changed into our onesies and pjs and sat on the couches while pitch perfect was on James and Tristan in one sofa Connor cuddled up to Jess (my dog) on the round chair in the corner and me and Chloe on the other sofa she was wrapped up in my arms and she's shivering.

Me: (whispers) are you cold?

Chloe: (nods and tried to cuddle up to me closer)

I pull the blanket over us and snuggle her more I love when she's in my arms I love the feeling like I'm protecting her. the boys have all feel asleep and me and Chloe are still awake.

Me: do you wanna up to bed?

Chloe nods so we quietly turn the tv off and head upstairs. I get into bed first so I'm against the wall and them followed by Chloe who is now infront of me I wrapped my arms around her and fall asleep.

The morning...

I wake up to find Chloe still asleep I watch her sleep she slowly starts to smile which courses a huge smile to appear on my face.

Me: morning beautiful (kisses her cheek)

Chloe: morning and why are you kissing me?

Me: erm no reason I was thinking once the boys go home we could go grab some coffee

Chloe: ok (gets up and walks into my ensuit)

I walk into Brads ensuit and turn on the shower I slowly get undress and step in its so nice to feel the warm hot water run on my body I got distracted by the door singing open.

Me: BRAD GET OUT!!

Brad: sorry I really need a wee

Me: there are other toilets

Brad finally leaves as I jump out of the shower wrapping a towel around me. oh no I've forgotten to bring in fresh clothes I slowly open the bathroom door and walk out to find brad sprawled across his bed I quietly grab my clothes.

Brad: (wolf whistles)

Me: oh shush

I go back into the bathroom brush my teeth my hair and put my clothes on before walking out to find Brad already in his clothes. we walk down stairs to find the boys eating.

Brad: you haven't cooked me anything then

Tristan: no but you can have the other half of my bacon sandwich

Brad agrees and starts eating it.

James: so Chloe do you want anything?

Me: no thank you. (walks into Brads lounge)

I could hear talking in the kitchen I decide to listen in.

Brad: can you guys hurry up and go?

Tristan: why?

Brad: you know why today's the day I'm asking Chloe on a date

I listen in shock then I heard the boys walk into the living room

James: it was nice to see you Chloe we need to get going so bye

I wave and the boys wave back as I here the front door shut.

Brad: you ready to get some coffee?

Me: yeah sure

I grab my leather jacket and walk out of the front door Brad locks up and we start walking to the coffee shop when we arrive Brad got nervous.

Me: are you ok you seem a little nervous

Brad: erm... n-no I'm good

He holds the door for me like a gentleman and we head to the till

Brad: what would you like?

Me: I will just have a mocha

Brad gives the cashier our order

I get out my purse

Brad: no put it away I got this

Me: you paid for bowling last night you can't pay for this aswell

Brad: well I'm paying

Brad hands over the money and we get given our drinks as we head over to the table next to the window I was staring out of the window watching cars and people walk past.

Brad: Chloe?

Me: Yeah what's up?

Brad: I-I w-was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me next Saturday?

Me: I would love to

The relief that came over brads face.
