Devon happily sits in the living room playing with her 11 year old corgi Bailey,she flicks over the TV channel to horse and country and sits back in the tweed sofa watching the LGCT jumping.
5 minutes later her nanny appears with her lunch ready,she sits it on the coffee table and Devon kneels down beside it and eats her ham salad sandwich,
"Thank you Mrs.Porter,have you got any news on when mother will be arriving ?"Devon asks the question while dusting off her bread crumbs onto the floor that Bailey comes to lick up.
Mrs porter replies,"Yes dear I do indeed..She will be back about two in the afternoon,she told me she has some big news for you !"
Mrs porter exits back into the kitchen and cleans some dishes,Devon smiles as she leaves whilst wondering what the news could be,after finishing with her lunch she takes the tray through to the kitchen to the nanny.
"Thanks mrs porter,the sandwiches were lovely and the yogurt was a lovely dessert for it."Devon shouts will running up the staircase.
Devon launches into her princess sized room then plops herself onto her king size bed and eventually after finding her rose gold iPhone 7 she phones her best friend Mila
"Hey,it's Devon!!"
"Hey Devon it's Mila,what's up ?"
"My parents come home in half an hour and my nanny says they've got some big news,I was wondering if you knew what it's about?"
"No i don't sorry,but when you know LET ME KNOW"
They both hang up laughing,Devon opens up her balcony doors,she takes a seat on one of her chairs and looks down at the horse field to see if she can spot her horses.She then heard the nannies small high heels walk against the downstairs floorboards and open up the tall front door.
Devon peaks down the staircase to see who it is,she hears her fathers voice moaning at her mother and her mother shouting back at him.
"Thank you mrs porter,I hope Devon's been behaving and not sneaking out to see Mila this month while We have been away in Dubai" Devons mother says whilst wheeling in her Louis Vuitton suitcase .
"Well there was onc.." Mrs porter goes on,
"Hello mother and father,I've miss you lots !"Devon runs down the stairs interrupting the conversation so she can't get caught.
They all hug each other.Mrs porter goes to get her jacket from the cloak room then walks out saying goodbye as she's away to get the food shopping.
"So we have news for you darling,I'm positive your going to love it,"Devons father says,he continues "let's go to the fancy living room and we will explain.."
They all walk along the large corridor and then enter the fancy living room which is used for decoration purposes or when the rich family comes over .. Devons mother and father sit down at the couch across from her.Her mother sits down a pamphlet on the coffee table,
Devon reads it,"Come swimming in Dubai with dolphins?"She looks confused,
"Oh wrong one.."Devons mother fiddles in her Gucci handbag to find the right one then takes back the Dubai leaflet,"this one is correct!"
Devon reads the correct pamphlet this time,"Flying Feather Equine Academy,Oh wow that looks beautiful," she continues reading the pamphlet...

You application for our 5* academy has been accepted.We hope to see you on May 23rd for your private tour of the academy in Belgium and we then hope to see you at the start of June to to start your first year of learning.
"Oh wow,thanks mum and dad,but I will see you even less now because it's in Belgium"Devon says with a tear in her eye whilst looking at the photos of the academy on the pamphlet
"Devon,we are always travelling for work reasons so we could come see you in Belgium once a month like we do here..and you will make plenty of new friends"Her mother explains whilst patting her shoulder.
"I will never meet a true friend like Mila though.."Devon storms upstairs.
Devon opens her door and closes it shut quietly, and then cries into her pillow.She texts Mila about the news .
"Devon!!"Her father shouts and walks up the stairs."Devon sweetie,there is no need to be upset.I think you're going to love it"
He kisses her forehead and then walks to the door to leave the room
"We have a flight at five in the morning to go see what it's like,I hope you like it because if not it's going to be a waste of my £50,000 money !"
Devon raised her eyebrows at how much it was and then regretted for being so spoiled about the situation,she smiled to her father, then once he left she got into her bed and texted mila.
