"So", said Ray. "So", echoed Nate looking around what was supposed to be L.A. 2017. "We broke time", grunted Mick his expression unreadable. "Yes I think we established that Mick! I don't need reminding," snapped an obviously pissed Sara. Stein who had been silent during the whole exchange now spoke up "I think what Mr. Rory is trying to say is that we should start thinking about what we should do about it." Mick glared at Stein but remained silent, while the rest of the crew looked at Sara for guidance. Only then did the crew of the Waverider notice that Rip wasn't present. "Guys, where's Rip?", asked a confused  Jax. "Yeah where is he? I may have know him for a little while, but even from the short amount of time I spent with him, I know that by now we'd probably get yelled at by him about the rules of time travel", added Nate. Once again all eyes were on Sara. In response she just shrugged and said "He left." "Left", dryly asked an unimpressed Amaya, "in a time of crisis?" Sara opened her mouth to respond but Amaya raised a hand to silence her and show that she wasn't done. "And neither of you found it necessary to inform your crew that one of their captains left?", finished a now glaring at Sara Amaya. "Look, it was all very sudden and he tried to sneak out", responded an even more aggravated Sara, "I only know because I caught him in the act. I was going to tell you but then this mess", she stopped talking and nodded her head towards the outside, "happened, and we suddenly had more pressing matters to deal with then Rip leaving. Speaking of which can we please get back to the matter at hand? The timeline's still broken you know, us arguing won't fix it." Ray, who was know looking at Sara like a kicked puppy, sighed and said "I know that more pessimism isn't exactly optimal now, but how are we going to fix it? Rip's off to who knows where and he was our fighting chance of fixing this. Your captain Sara and you obviously don't know how. Any I'm fairly certain we're all out of ideas." Sensing that someone had to do something soon Nate spoke up, "I think that before we start figuring out how to fix the timeline we should figure out how much damage we sustained." "I agree with Nathaniel", agreed Amaya. "Gideon?", called out Stein. Upon receiving no response Jax sighed and stood up, "I'm going to go and try to get Gideon back online." Sara nodded in response. Taking a cue from Jax that it was time that they all began doing something Ray also stood up and said, "I'll go down to the engine room and see if the time drive is intact." "I'll go to the library and look at the time seismometer, see how intact the rest of history is", said Nate, following in suite, and also exiting the bridge. Martin also stood up, "Since we crash landed in 2017 I'll see if I can get through to S.T.A.R. Labs and see how bad the damage is here across the globe, if you decide that we need help, Sara, I'll call in for backup." Amaya looked at Sara and Mick and said " I'll go through Rip's office and the other materials on the Waverider and see if the Time Masters had any type of protocol in case something like that ever happened." "Well Blondie it looks like it's just you and me now",  Mick noted looking at the now-nearly empty bridge. "We messed up Mick, I messed up. I know that we've messed up before but this, this is different.  And I don't have the slightest idea how to fix it." "So? You need a therapy session and a shoulder to cry on Sara? I'm not your man, go talk to Ray or something. But I won't let you sit here and wallow in self-pity. Get up and do something we're all trying, so you are going to as well." "And what exactly are you going to do", snapped Sara not for the first time today. "Me? I may not have smarts like the rest of you but I'm not going to sit here and do nothing. I'm going to go out and see if there's anything I can do right now to stop more aborations." Mick got up and grabbed his Heat Gun, and just as he was about to exit the bridge he turned back to Sara and said " And Sara; you're going to get up and do something about this too and you're going to do it now, or I'll kick your ass." Sara could tell that the threat at the end probably wasn't going to be carried out into reality but Mick's point got across. Silently Sara got up stared out the window and then slowly walked over to the control module in order to get the shields back online, so they could at least  be clocked and not cause an additional aborations by just being seen by locals. As she was doing this she thought about Mick's words, and realized they were true, they were all doing their best. And somehow this reassured Sara. They were the legends after all. And they would fix this, and if they couldn't they would look for another way and they wouldn't stop until they found one. But most importantly they would do it as a team- together.
