dear caitlyn,

it's been a year since you left this earth, and girl,

i miss you so damn much you have no idea

i didn't leave my room for a month when you left

i could not function properly, i didn't want to

i just couldn't get used to the idea

of not seeing you on you regular seat at the bus

your headphones in your ears and you quietly humming with the songs

your short blonde hair always messy and your bangs falling imperfectly on your forehead

everything was meaningless without you, and it still is .

it hurts so much but our notes are the only things i have left that included you

your parents had brought me all of notes i wrote to you,

they couldn't deal with your leaving, but they are being so nice with me

because they knew how much i loved you, and still do

and i feel bad for them, they lost someone so close to them

and i couldn't help them deal with it

because i am still trying to figure out how to deal with it myself .

i graduated from highschool though

and i'm leaving for college, guess what ?

i'll be studying music for you, since you loved it so much

and i'll try to write songs for you

songs that will be dedicated just to you, only you

not a day goes by , though, that i don't miss you . every single day i'll light a candle for you

even though i badly wants to be with you,

but i'll try to stay strong to do the thing you didn't do like you told me
