I heard a screech and a bang, followed by gagging sounds. I looked up to see that Mia's chair was now on the floor, and she was on her feet. Her body was leaning over the desk and her hands were around Hemline's neck. The nurse that had went to grab me before was now wrestling Mia off the doctor. They quickly but not easily pulled Mia off the doctor. She was red hot with pure hatred. I was trying to process all that was going on. The nurse pulled out handcuffs and cuffed Mia to her chair. With a frustrated grunt, the doctor fled the room. I looked back at Mia. Instead of seeing the revenge seeking monster that sat in the seat before, I saw a feeble, weak, hurt middle aged woman. She looked aged, as if she had aged 20 years more than her normal age. A waterfall fell from her eyes, and her eyes were bloodshot. I could feel her brokenness. It hurt. She curled up in a ball. Two minutes pass. Three. I started to pass out, but was startled by the sudden silence. The cries of my wife had completely vanished. I looked back to see what was wrong. She was sitting in an upwards position now, bend over herself. I couldn't see her face anymore, I could only guess that the dampness had made her hair stick to it. Her breathing was sickeningly normal, and it made me feel uncomfortable. Four minutes. Five. Not a noise. The doctor entered the room.
