Deuce's pov.....
The serpent froze, staring me down. I store it down as well, behind my shades. It clearly saw me as a threat, identifying me as a Gorgon. Gorgons were allies with snakes seen as... You know. Part Snake. But we Gorgons are far stronger and far more feared. We can... Turn them to stone in an instant. It gave one last hiss, then slithered off into the darkness. 

       I then turned to who I presumed was a group of girls. Cleo, Venus, Lagoona and... Autumn? Was that really Autumn? She'd hardly changed from the first time I met her. Cracking grey skin.. Graying brown hair. Black glasses... "Autumn?" I questioned. She nodded, still looking fearful. "Correct." She said. I couldn't help but smirk.

       "How long's it been?... A year?" I asked. "About that, actually." She replied. I sighed. "You know. We never did go on that date from a year ago.." I said softly. She didn't hear. "What?" She asked. I shook it off. "It's nothing...."

That's when Cleo looked at me. "Oh... Deuce." She paused. It's been a while since I've seen her as well.... Heh....
