*He is so perfect*

The seconds turned into minutes, the minute into an hour and Danielle was still waiting for her best friend to show up. She was an hour late.

"Provably she is just looking all over her house for her favorite pair of Converse" Danielle thought. At that very moment a short brunette girl showed up into the almost empty classroom.

"Hey! Sorry for being late. What did you had to tell me that was so important that couldn't wait until school was over?"

"Bridget, I like someone"

Bridget could not believe her friend made her rush into school just to tell her that she liked someone. She knew Danielle as the palm of her hand; she was a hopeless romantic, "falling" for a different guy every month.

"Yeah, like you liked that guy last week, or the week before?"

"No, Bree. This time I am serious, I mean it. He is so sweet, has those brown eyes that makes you want to stare at them forever, and that smile"

Danielle could not help it but sight at the memory of the boy of her dreams. Meanwhile, Bridget was finding it hard to believe that the girl she had seen in love with a boy more often than she could remember, was finally serious about liking someone. She had grown up, Danielle was sixteen going on seventeen now and was old enough to actually understand what is having feelings for someone.

"You really do like him" Bridget said more to herself than for anyone to hear.

"Yes, I do. This time is different, it's not just a little girl's crush, this time it for real"

"I don't know what to say. I'm really glad for you, Danny"

"There is only one problem" Danielle said while making a little grin "He is a year younger"

"Who is a year younger?" Alex walked through the door and sat in front of the two girls.

"Danielle's boyfriend" Bree replied teasing her best friend.

"He's not my boyfriend, I just kind of like him." Danielle said wile blushing markedly.

"So, He is a year younger? You know, I always pictured you with someone older" The blonde teenager boy said.

"Yeah, about a year older, tall, blonde, and with blue eyes."

Alex's eyes opened wide when he heard Bridget completely describe him. Sometimes -just like in this very moment- he regret telling her about his feelings towards Danielle.

"What? Why?" Danny asked completely ignorant about what was really going on.

"Just because you used to say that when we were little." Bridget replied as normally as she usually would, acting as if she had not drop an indirect to her dark-brown haired friend or teased Alex.

"I guess people change. I mean, he is brunette, average height, and a year younger. It's not like I would still be into the same boy I liked three years ago"

"Yeah I guess not." Alex answered with a sadly tone realizing that he had feelings for Danielle for past three years. "The bell is going to ring any minute, we'll better go to our class, Bree"

"We should. See you at lunch Danny!"
